Abstract: A safety apparatus is a terminal shield having an indication circuit incorporated therein. The safety apparatus is usable with a circuit interrupter to overlie one or more terminals of the circuit interrupter that are connected with line and load conductors and to thereby form a circuit interrupter apparatus. The safety apparatus can be employed at the line side of a circuit interrupter, at the load side of a circuit interrupter, or at both sides of a circuit interrupter. The safety apparatus can be provided as part of a new circuit interrupter apparatus or can be provided to retrofit existing circuit interrupters. The indication circuit advantageously outputs from a top surface of the terminal shield one of a visual indication and an audible indication when one or more terminals of the circuit interrupter are electrified, thereby easily conveying to a technician the portions of the circuit interrupter that are electrified.

Abstract: A coupling arrangement (10) for reversibly mechanically and electrically coupling a terminal connector (200) to a circuit board arrangement (100) comprising, the circuit board arrangement (100), which contains a circuit board (110) and a connecting element (120) being mechanically connected to the circuit board (110). Hereby the connecting element (120) comprises at least one connecting unit (121), wherein each connecting unit (121) comprises a first electrical connection point (124) being electrically connected to the circuit board (110). Moreover, the coupling arrangement further contains the terminal connector (200) comprising at least one terminal connector unit (210) and a housing (205) for carrying the at least one terminal connector unit (210). In a mechanical connection state of the terminal connector (200) and the circuit board arrangement (100), the respective terminal connector units (210) and connecting units (121) are coupled, providing an electrical connection of the terminal connector (200) and the circuit board (110).

Abstract: A multi-way coupler includes a housing having at least three connector-receiving channels, a circuit board contained within the housing and at least three pairs of contacts including exactly one pair of contacts per each of the at least three connector-receiving channels. Each of the contacts includes a forward end extending into the respective connector-receiving channel and a rearward end electrically coupled to the circuit board. Further, each of the pair of contacts includes a first contact and a second contact with the circuit board including a first set of traces to electrically couple all of the first contacts together and a second set of traces to electrically couple all of the second contacts together.
