Abstract: 멀티 포트 어댑터는 전원 연결 포트; 호스트 연결 포트; 주변 기기 연결 포트; 컨트롤러; 및 전력 공급 회로를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 컨트롤러는, 전원 장치에서 상기 멀티 포트 어댑터로 공급 가능한 전력에 관한 제1 전력 정보를 상기 전원 연결 포트를 통해 수신하고, 상기 제1 전력 정보에서 최대 전력 값을 확인하고, 상기 최대 전력 값의 전력을 상기 멀티 포트 어댑터로 공급해 줄 것을 요청하는 메시지를 상기 전원 연결 포트를 통해 상기 전원 장치로 전송하고, 상기 최대 전력 값에서 상기 멀티 포트 어댑터에서 소비되는 제1 전력 값 및 상기 주변 기기 연결 포트를 통해 주변 기기로 공급하기로 설정된 제2 전력 값을 빼고 남은 제3 전력 값을 확인하고, 상기 제3 전력 값에 기반하여, 상기 멀티 포트 어댑터에서 호스트 장치로 공급 가능한 전력에 관한 제2 전력 정보를 생성하고, 상기 제2 전력 정보를 상기 호스트 연결 포트를 통해 상기 호스트 장치로 전송하도록 구성될 수 있다.

Abstract: Techniques for identifying one or more wireless access points (APs), from among a plurality of APs including 6GHz radios, as candidates to operate in standard power indoor (SPI) mode. Identification is based on at least one of: determining that network switches associated with the wireless APs meet a threshold requirement relating to power over ethernet (PoE) for operating in SPI mode, determining, based on at least one of radio frequency (RF) density and channel quality relating to the plurality of APs, that the one or more APs should operate in SPI mode as opposed to lower power indoor (LPI) mode, and determining that operating the one or more APs in SPI mode improves quality of service (QoS) metrics for the plurality of APs as opposed to operating the one or more APs in LPI mode. The one or more wireless APs are configured to operate in SPI mode.

The first device transmits frames in a transmission cycle subsequent to the first transmission cycle.
