Abstract: The present invention relates to a refrigeration system (3) comprising a refrigeration unit (4) having a plurality of refrigeration apparatuses (5, 6, 7) supplied with electricity from both the grid and photovoltaic panels (2). The system comprises a control device (1) which compares the power (Pg) produced by the photovoltaic panels and the power (Pa) absorbed by the refrigeration unit. If Pg is greater than Pa the controller sends a temperature setpoint command that is lower than the standard temperature setpoint to one or more of the refrigeration apparatuses to store the surplus energy as additional cooling.

Abstract: A method of energy distribution from a plurality of energy sources to a plurality of loads is described. The method comprises the following steps. A set of selection options for a load are determined (410). Values are established for the selection options for each of the plurality of loads (420). The loads are then ordered into a load order according to a load ordering parameter (430). The energy sources are ordered in a plurality of sequences (440), where each sequence corresponds to a possible set of values for the selection options and wherein at least one energy source appears in more than one of the plurality of sequences. The loads are then matched with the energy sources according to the load order (450), wherein each load is matched with the sources in the sequence corresponding to the set of values for the selection options established for that load. A computing system adapted to perform this method, and an electrical grid incorporating such a computing system are also described.

Abstract: A collector system for a wind power plant that includes one or more wind turbines is provided. The wind power plant collector system comprises a DC collector grid (15), wherein the DC collector grid (15) has a symmetrical monopole topology including a first pole (11) and a second pole (12) of opposite polarity. The DC collector grid (15) is configured to collect electrical power generated by the one or more wind turbines (110) and to transport the collected electrical power to a common converter (20) by means of a DC current having a predetermined current direction in the DC collector grid (15). The common converter (20) is connected to the DC collector grid (15), the common converter being configured to convert DC electrical power received from the DC collector grid (15) and to provide the converted electrical power to a load (130).
