摘要: The invention relates to a method for controlling power generation from a power plant (100) which comprises a plurality of power generating units. The method involves setting a maximal allowed power production (Pmax) for each power generating unit in a selection of one or more power generating units of second priority (pl2) to a non-zero value, where the maximal allowed power production (Pmax) is determined dependent on whether a first power production gap (Pgap1) is greater or less than zero and dependent on a comparison of the first power production gap (Pgap1) with a second available power production capability (Paval_pl2) of the selection of the one or more power generating units of the second priority (pl2).

摘要: A method for electrical grid monitoring using aggregated smart meter data includes receiving, from an electric grid monitoring device, electrical data aggregated from a plurality of electric meters each connected to a secondary side of at least one electrical transformer within a local geographic region. Each electric meter is configured to generate measurement data based on measurements taken at a respective electrical load. The electrical data indicates one or more characteristics of a secondary electrical distribution system connected to the at least one electrical transformer. The method includes determining, based on the electrical data aggregated from the plurality of electric meters, one or more characteristics of the primary electrical distribution system connected to the electrical transformer.

摘要: A system and method for optimizing power grid operations and enhancing the life of switching components therein is provided. Current meteorological information of a region of operation of the power grid is collected during operation thereof, along with historical meteorological data of the region. A plurality of prediction models are executed using the current meteorological information and/or the historical meteorological data and a meteorological parameter of the region is forecast by selectively combining outputs of at least some of the executed prediction models, the meteorological parameter being a parameter that causes a renewable energy source in the power grid to generate power. The forecasted meteorological parameter is compensated with physical models and the historical meteorological data, and optimal switching operations of switching components in the power grid are computed based on the compensated forecasted meteorological parameter, with the switching components being controlled based on the computed optimal switching operations.

摘要: Real time data and historical data of power usage for components of an electrical power environment is analyzed, using a computer, to manage distribution of electrical power from multiple generation sources. Data is received for a plurality of nodes including components having power delivery and consuming capabilities. Real time data for the nodes is received and the real time data includes power output of the components. The data and the real time data is analyzed to determine predictable power usage for the components. Constraint limits are defined for a plurality of data points from the real time data for each of the plurality of nodes in the power consuming environment. An electrical power supply control plan is created based on the analysis and the penalty variables. The electrical power supply control plan is communicated to a control system for managing power usage in the electrical power environment.

摘要: A method, apparatus and system are provided to coordinate, manage, and optimize the electrical loads across all subsystems behind a given meter. In this approach, which is sometimes referred to herein as intelligent demand optimization, the optimized capacity needs of each subsystem are assessed in real-time, along with the available capacity of the meter and the current billing period peak. Power is then distributed dynamically to each subsystem to reduce the overall peak.

摘要: Energy conversion and distribution can include converting sound energy to electrical energy using one or more energy converters positioned within a predetermined area. Multiple devices can be classified to indicate an energy requirement of each device, and the electrical energy converted from sound energy can be allocated to one or more of the devices based on the classifying. Delivery of the electrical energy allocated to each of the one or more devices can be controlled using a switching mechanism to create a transmission channel with respect to each of the one or more devices.
