Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for retransmission of a communication by a relay node based on a failure of a target node to receive the communication. In some aspects, the relay node may determine that the second wireless node has failed to receive the second communication, or an upstream wireless node (such as a distributed unit) may determine that the target node has failed to receive the communication. The relay node may retransmit the communication based on such a determination. In some aspects, the relay node may buffer the communication or information used to generate the communication, and may retransmit the buffered communication. In some aspects, a configuration for the retransmission may be modified based on a capability of the relay node or another concern.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) configured for operation in a fifth-generation new radio (5GNR) system may multiplex high-priority (HP) hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledge (HARQ-ACK) bits corresponding to a first HARQ- ACK codebook with low-priority (LP) HARQ-ACK bits corresponding to a second HARQ-ACK codebook onto a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission to a gNode B (gNB). The UE may be configured with the first HARQ-ACK codebook and the second HARQ-ACK codebook of different priorities. The HP HARQ-ACK bits may be encoded with a first maximum code rate (maxCodeRate) and the LP HARQ-ACK bits may be encoded with a second maximum code rate. The maximum code rates may be configured to the UE via RRC signalling per PUCCH format.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for transmission of Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) feedback for multiple Semi-Persistent Scheduling (SPS) or multiple Configured Grant (CG) transmission alignment. In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless communication device comprises receiving N configurations, where N is an integer greater than one and the N configurations are N downlink semi-persistent scheduling, SPS, configurations or N uplink configured grant, CG, configurations. The method further comprises sending or receiving HARQ feedback for N physical uplink or downlink shared channels that are associated to the N configurations and belong to a same period, using a HARQ codebook that comprises a single HARQ acknowledgement or negative acknowledgement, ACK/NACK, for the N physical uplink or downlink shared channels. In this manner, construction of a smaller HARQ codebook is enabled, which helps in saving resources.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide apparatus, methods, processing systems, and computer readable mediums for forming a virtual user equipment (UE) group and enhancing communication using joint reception and transmission mechanisms. For example, a UE may establish sidelink channels for communications with one or more other UEs. The UE and the one or more other UEs may form a virtual UE group (also interchangeably referred to as a virtual UE) using the sidelink channels. The UE may exchange information with other UEs in the virtual UE group to enhance communications between the one or more UEs of the virtual UE group and a network entity. The information exchanged depends on at least one of a joint reception mechanism or a joint transmission mechanism used by the virtual UE group. The UE communicates with the network entity based, at least in part, on the exchanged information.

The method generally includes taking received signal power measurements on a first transmitter receiver point (TRP) of the UE and a second TRP of the UE, determining resources to exclude from a pool of resources for sidelink transmissions based on the received signal power measurements taken on the first and second TRPs, selecting resources from the pool of resources for sidelink communications based at least in part on the determination of resources to exclude, and transmitting on the sidelink, on one or more of the first and second TRPs, using the selected resources.
