Abstract:
A film packaging for soft foodstuff masses comprises a container film formed into an open container (13) with a bottom surface (11) and side walls (12) projecting up from the bottom surface (11), said container film containing aluminum foil (34) and a lid (16) that is sealed with respect to the container film, closes the container (13) and is made from a flat blank of a cover film containing aluminum foil and/or a plastic film, wherein the side walls (12) of the container (13), in the region of the free ends thereof, are turned over on to the lid (16) arranged in the interior of the container (13), forming a circumferential sealing edge (14) directed toward the interior of the container, and are sealed with respect to the lid (16). The aluminum foil of the container film is extrusion-coated with a polymer, and the cover film is coated with a low-temperature sealing medium on the side directed toward the sealing edge (14) of the container film.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dispenser (101) of granular or powdered food products (119), e.g. grated cheese and similar loose food products. The dispenser (101) is a bi-valve holder (120), comprising a first valve (104) and a second valve (105) closed on themselves, with each valve (104, 105) moulded in one piece out of a single sheet of plastic synthetic material, said valves being joined along an edge line (106). At least one valve is equipped with a dispensing hole (114) and a label (116), removable by tearing, to cover the hole (114). Said valves (104, 105) before the sealing step, have heat-sealed side edges (109, 110) and approached top edges (111, 112). Advantageously, an automatic process is provided to manufacture said dispenser comprising the following steps: opening of the dispenser upper end by pressing on said side edges (109, 110) with subsequent expansion due to the fact that said top edges (111, 112) move away from each other; filling with the loose food product (119) through said opening; heat-sealing of said top edges (111, 112).
Abstract:
The invention concerns an assembly comprising a processed cheese portion (22) and a package (26) closely wrapping said portion, the package including an element which itself comprises a film (2) tightly wrapping said portion and in contact therewith, and tear-initiating means (11) for enabling the sheet (2) to be torn along at least one tear line (8) when a gripping tab (10) of the element is pulled. At least a first part of said or each tear line (8) is defined by or made from a material of the film (2).
Abstract:
The disclosed packet (110) is formed from flexible wrapping material. The packet defines an interior volume and includes a seal area (412). The seal area includes a plurality of sealed strips (422) and a plurality of unsealed strips (424). At least one unsealed strip is disposed between each pair of sealed strips. Each of the sealed strips includes two portions of the wrapping material that have been bonded together. Each of the unsealed strips includes two adjacent portions of the wrapping material that have not been bonded together. Each of the sealed strips also includes at least one void area (430). Each void area includes two adjacent portions of the wrapping-material that have not been bonded together. The void areas and the unsealed strips provide at least one continous unsealed path (432) from the interior of the packet through the seal area to an external environment.
Abstract:
A packaged product comprises a boneless food product comprising at least one member selected from the group consisting of meat and cheese. The food product has added liquid thereon, for example brine which has been injected into (and is exuding from) a meat product, or brine in which cheese has been soaking. The film article surrounds the boneless food product, and is in contact with both the boneless food product and the added liquid. The film article exhibits a Standard Drop Test - Boneless failure rate of less than 60 percent. A packaging process involves placing the boneless food product into a film article, which may be a bag, pouch, or casing, the boneless food product having added liquid thereon. The added liquid on the surface of the meat product contaminates an inside surface of the film article which is to be sealed. The film article is then sealed across an open end thereof, the seal being made through the contamination on the inside surface of the meat product. The resulting film article exhibits a Standard Drop Test- Boneless failure rate of less than 60 percent.
Abstract:
Package for a food product, the package (10) comprising a container (12) defining an inner chamber (14), a food product housed in said inner chamber (14) of said container (12). The package comprises a hollow tubular element (24) associated to the package (10) in such a way as to present a longitudinal portion (26), terminating in a free extremity, which extends from said container (12) to realise a grip handle or a suction straw. The method to realise the package provides for the realisation of a container (12) defining a chamber (14) for housing said product (16) and having a through opening (22) which opens outwards and in said housing chamber (14), and a phase wherein the product is introduced in a substantially liquid condition inside said housing chamber. According to the method, before said product introduction phase, a hollow tubular element (24) is readied in correspondence with said opening (22), and the product (16) is introduced, in substantially liquid condition, inside said housing chamber (14) with the product (16) passing through said hollow tubular element (24).
Abstract:
The package is realised using a first section (2) of wrapping material, made of tinfoil, or of thin aluminium foil treated with products (lakes) which make it heat-weldable, or obtained from a film of heat-weldable material; said section is formed into a bag inside a pit-shaped forming hopper (3), by means of a piston (5) able to confer a cup shape (4) to said first section of wrapping material in concurrence with the walls of said forming hopper, which are structured so that the sides of said cup are obtained by folding and mutually superimposing peripheral portions, mutually contiguous, of said first section; the subject method provides for the use of welding means (8) preferably associated with said hopper, to weld in a permanent manner the overlapping portions of the wrapping material which define the sides (4b) of said cup in the phase wherein, by means of said piston, the container is made to pass through the outlet (3c) of said forming hopper; the package is completed, after filling the cup with the product to be packaged, using a second section of wrapping material, preferably obtained from the same material as the first, brought to close the cup with its own peripheral border folded outwards and facing the top border of said cup; and the subject method entails hermetically sealing the cup by providing for the mutual welding of said borders of the cup and of the second section of wrapping material.
