Abstract: The present disclosure provides an extrudable article and a composition, each including at least one polyurethane including hydroxyl groups and latent isocyanate groups in the form of uretdione groups. The hydroxyl groups are present on a first polyurethane and the latent isocyanate groups are present on either the first polyurethane or a second polyurethane and a ratio of the latent isocyanate groups to the hydroxyl groups is greater than 1.2 : 1. A method of making the extrudable article is provided including reacting in an extruder a polymerizable composition including a uretdione-containing material including a reaction product of a diisocyanate reacted with itself, a hydroxyl-containing compound, and an isocyanate-containing compound. A method of making a core-sheath filament is provided including forming a core composition of the at least one polyurethane and wrapping a sheath composition including an ethylene copolymer or a polyolefin around the core composition. Further, methods of printing a composition are provided including heating and mixing the extrudable article, such as in an extruder, to form a molten composition, then dispensing the molten composition through a nozzle onto a substrate.

Abstract: An adhesive composition which comprises a resin component (A) comprising a polyester polyol, a hydrogenated epoxy, a silane, and an optional organic solvent; and a hardener component (B) comprising an aliphatic polyisocyanate and/or an alicyclic polyisocyanate; the adhesive composition being substantially free of aromatic rings. The polyester polyol is prepared by reacting a polybasic acid and a polyalcohol, and the polybasic acid comprises an aliphatic polybasic acid and/or an alicyclic polybasic acid. The polyester polyol has a glass transition temperature (Tg) in a range of from 0°C to 10°C. The adhesive composition of the present invention has strong adhesion, excellent weather-resistance and yellowing-resistance.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing polyurethane sheet/laminate with reduced bubbles, comprising the steps of applying a polyurethane system obtained by mixing an isocyanate component (A) and a polyol composition component (B) to form a base coat layer, wherein the components (A) and (B) are kept saperately in tanks under vacuum before mixing and the application of the polyurethane system is implemented via knife coating under relative humidity of 65% or below. The present invention further relates to a polyurethane sheet/laminate prepared by the described process and synthetic leather made from the polyurethane sheet/laminate.

A synthetic leather article prepared with said waterborne polyurethane dispersion is also disclosed.
