Abstract: A method for wireless communication includes a first wireless communication device receiving, from a second wireless communication device, one or more signals for each of a plurality of candidate sensing beams and a transmission beam. The method also includes determining, for each of the plurality of candidate sensing beams based on at least one of the one or more signals for the respective candidate sensing beam, a first signal measurement. The method also includes determining, based on at least one of the one or more signals for the transmission beam, a second signal measurement with respect to a direction of the transmission beam, and determining, for each of the plurality of candidate sensing beams based on the respective first signal measurement and the second signal measurement, beam coverage information with respect to the transmission beam direction.

Abstract: Implementations of a sensing headroom report (HR), generating the sensing HR, and adjusting transmit powers and other parameters are described. A device transmits a radar wireless signal at a first transmit power from one or more transmit chains. The device also senses the radar wireless signal. The device generates a sensing HR based on sensing the radar wireless signal. The sensing HR may include one or more indications of metrics associated with a received power, such as a transmit power headroom, a sensing headroom, or a combination of a self-interference power, noise, and received power. The device provides the sensing HR to another device in the wireless network (such as via a base station and/or core network to a radar server), and another device may determine a transmit power or other device parameters to be used for sensing.

Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for enabling OTA estimation of a radio frequency parameter of a radio transmitter during a test time interval. The radio transmitter is configured for transmission in a set of beams. A method is performed by a controller of the radio transmitter. The method comprises identifying a subset of beams in the set of beams that, during the test time interval, are unused for transmission of scheduled signals. The method comprises instructing the radio transmitter to transmit, during the test time interval, an unscheduled signal in the subset of beams, whilst also transmitting the scheduled signals in those beams of the set of beams that are used for transmission of the scheduled signals, for enabling estimation of the radio frequency parameter of the radio transmitter.

Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for OTA estimation of an RF parameter of a radio transmitter. A method is performed by a measurement equipment. The method comprises obtaining information of spatial radiation pattern used by the radio transmitter and power allocation used by the radio transmitter for transmission of a signal using the spatial radiation pattern. The method comprises obtaining a measurement of at least one of signal power and signal frequency of the signal as transmitted from the radio transmitter by measuring on the signal. The measurement is made with respect to spatial orientations and distance between the radio transmitter and the measurement equipment. The method comprises estimating the RF parameter for the signal transmitted by the radio transmitter from the measurement and using the information of spatial radiation pattern, power allocation, and spatial orientations and distance.
