摘要:
Systems and methods for determining a desired trajectory and/or monitoring the trajectory of surgical instruments and/or implants in any number of surgical procedures, such as (but not limited to) spinal surgery, including (but not limited to) ensuring proper placement of pedicle screws during pedicle fixation procedures and ensuring proper trajectory during the establishment of an operative corridor to a spinal target site.
摘要:
A surgical instrument positioning system, comprising: at least one support (20); a cross member (12) having at least one curved end portion (14), the at least one curved end portion (14) being held by the at least one support (20) such that the cross member (12) is rotatable about an axis (A) extending through a center of curvature of the at least one curved end portion (14) of the cross member (12); and at least one surgical instrument holder (40) suspended from the cross member (12). A laser alignment system for an image intensifier, comprising: at least one laser source (300) which emits planar laser beams in a first and second intersecting planes.

A method is disclosed for spinal anatomy segmentation. In one example, the method includes combining a fully convolutional network with a residual neural network. The method also includes training the combined fully convolutional network with the residual neural network from end to end. The method also includes receiving at least one medical image of a spinal anatomy. The method also includes applying the fully convolutional network with the residual neural network to at least one medical image and segmenting at least one vertebral body from the at least one medical image of the spinal anatomy.

A system and method for converting intraoperative 2D C-Arm images into a 3D representation of the position and orientation of surgical instruments relative to the patient's anatomy is provided.
摘要:
A surgical access system including a tissue distraction assembly and a tissue retraction assembly, both of which may be equipped with one or more electrodes for use in detecting the existence of (and optionally the distance and/or direction to) neural structures before, during, and after the establishment of an operative corridor to a surgical target site.

Methods are provided for planning, performing, and assessing of surgical correction to the spine during a spinal surgical procedure. These methods are implemented by a control unit through a GUI to digitize screw locations, digitize anatomical reference points, accept one or more correction inputs, and generate one or more rod solution outputs shaped to engage the screws at locations distinct from the originally digitized locations.
