摘要: The objective of the present invention is to provide a compact urine flow meter capable of easily and accurately measuring a flow rate and velocity of urine flow. In this urine flow meter, a water wheel 7 which is caused to rotate by a flow of urine from a urine flow passage tube 20 is provided at a lower end side of the urine flow passage tube 20, through which urine collected by a urine collection part 2 flows. The shape of a tip portion of the urine flow passage tube 20 that causes urine to hit on the water wheel constitutes a nozzle part 22 in which the tip-side is acutely processed, and an opening 21 is formed in a sidewall surface of the tip-side. A guide 23 which is elongated in the longitudinal direction of the nozzle part 22 is provided in a urine flow passage between the opening 21 of the nozzle part 22 and a sidewall surface on the opposite side thereto, and is disposed in such a way that a tip of the guide 23 is elongated as far as a tip-side region of the urine flow passage tube 20. The tip of the guide 23 is formed obliquely, the configuration being such that urine flowing through the urine flow passage tube 20 is introduced into the nozzle part 22 and is guided by the guide 23, and after having been led to the tip of the guide 23, the urine is collected at the tip side of the guide 23 and hits against the tip portion of blade of the water wheel 7. The water wheel 7 is caused to rotate by the flow of urine, and the urine flow rate can be detected on the basis of the rotation detection information.

摘要: A device for draining bodily fluids is described herein which generally may comprise an elongate body defining one or more lumens configured to receive a bodily fluid from a cavity, e.g., bladder, of a patient body. The one or more lumens are in fluid communication with a reservoir which may receive the bodily fluid. A pumping mechanism may be used to urge the bodily fluid through the one or more lumens, where the pumping mechanism is configured to maintain an open space within the one or more lumens such that outflow of the bodily fluid through the one or more lumens remains unobstructed such that a negative pressure buildup in the cavity is inhibited. The device may also include a vent or valve mechanism in communication with the elongate body to allow air to enter or exit the one or more lumens.
