Subsequently, after the bonded substrate 14 has been bonded to another layer substrate of the disk, the adhesive layer 12 is removed to separate the glass substrate 13. The co-jointed rubber manufacturing method according to the present invention is characterized by comprising an end face shaping step for shaping one end face of a sheet form non-vulcanized rubber member into a state in which the one face can be abutted on the other end face, and an end face co-jointing step for mutually abutting the one end face on the other end face, to effect co-jointing. In the present invention, in the end face shaping step, the one end face and the other end face of the sheet form non-vulcanized rubber member are shaped into such a state as can be mutually abutted. And, in the end face co-jointing step, the one end face and the other end face are co-jointed by abutting on each other. Consequently, in the resulting co-jointed rubber, the co-jointing is performed in high efficiency, no gap is formed in the conjugation face, and high dimensional precision and sufficient conjugation strength are secured.

A method and an apparatus for applying a reclosable profile element and a tear strip element to a packaging film is disclosed. Packaging film (15) is formed into a tubular form about a forming tube (22). The tubular shaped packaging film (15) is advanced along the length of the forming tube (22) and over a product fill tube (24) having an outer perimeter less than the outer perimeter of the forming tube (22). The packaging film (15) is deformed to conform to the outer perimeter of the product fill tube (24). Excess packaging film, made available due to the differences in outer perimeters of the forming tube (22) and product fill tube (24), is formed into a loop. A reclosable profile element (30) is guided into the loop and adhered to the inner surface of the loop. A tear strip (31) is also provided which may be adhered to the packaging film prior to said film into a tubular shape about said forming tube, or may be guided into the loop of said film.
