A shaped body comprising at least one solid material and a cured epoxy resin wherein the cured epoxy resin is prepared from an epoxy resin composition containing at least one epoxy resin having at least one epoxy group per molecule; at least one curing agent selected from cyanoalkylated polyamines of formula (A) A(NH—X—CN), wherein A is a group selected from aryl, arylalkyl, alkyl, and cycloalkyl, wherein A does not contain a primary amino group, X is alkylene having 1 to 10 C-atoms, and n≧2; and at least one accelerator selected from tertiary amines, imidazoles, guanidines, urea compounds, and Lewis acids.

The invention relates to multi-component epoxy resin compositions, comprising the following components: a) at least one epoxy resin component containing a1) at least one epoxy resin and a2) at least one compound of the general formula (I), wherein R 1 and R 2 independently from one another stand for hydrogen, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, C 1 -C 4 -alkoxy-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 5 -C 6 -cycloalkyl, phenyl, phenyl-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 2 -C 6 -alkenyl, or C 2 -C 6 -alkynyl, or R 1 and R 2 jointly stand for a C 3 -C 11 alkylene group; R 3 and R 4 independently from one another stand for hydrogen, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, C 1 -C 4 -alkoxy-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 5 -C 6 -cycloalkyl, phenyl, phenyl-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 2 -C 6 -alkenyl, or C 2 -C 6 -alkynyl, or R 3 and R 4 jointly stand for a C 4 -C 6 alkylene group; b) at least one hardener component containing b1) at least one amine curing agent, wherein the epoxy resin component (a) and/or the hardener component (b) contain at least one additional constituent part c1), which is selected from aliphatic polyether polyols and aliphatic polyetheramine polyols. Cured epoxy resins are widespread because of the excellent mechanical and chemical properties of cured epoxy resins. Epoxy resins based on bisphenol A diglycidyl ether or bisphenol F diglycidyl ether are usually used, but said epoxy resins are problematic for many fields because of the endocrine effect of said epoxy resins. The invention relates to glycidyl ethers of lime-based diols and/or polyols and curable epoxy resin compositions based on said glycidyl ethers as an alternative to bisphenol A diglycidyl ether or bisphenol F diglycidyl ether and the epoxy resin compositions based on bisphenol A diglycidyl ether or bisphenol F diglycidyl ether.

This invention relates to polyetheramines based on 1,3-dialcohols, in particular to an etheramine mixture comprising at least 90% by weight, based on the total weight of the etheramine mixture, of anamine of Formula (I) and/or (II), wherein R1-R12 are independently selected from H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, or arylalkyl, wherein at least one of R1-R6 and at least one of R7-R12 is different from H, wherein A1-A9 are independently selected from linear or branched alkylenes having 2 to 18 carbon atoms, preferably 2-10 carbon atoms, most preferably 2-5 carbon atoms, wherein Z1-Z4 are independently selected from OH or NH2, wherein at least one of Z1-Z2 and at least one of Z3-Z4 is NH2, and wherein the sum of x+y is in the range of from 2 to 200, wherein x≧1 and y≧1; and x1+y1 is in the range of from 2 to 200, preferably 2-20, most preferably 2-10, wherein x1≧1 and y1≧1.

The invention relates to 2-N,N-bis(2-aminoalkyl)-1,2-alkyl diamine derivatives of formula (I) as such, to a method for producing the 2-N,N-bis(2-aminoalkyl)-1,2-alkyl diamine derivatives, to the use of the 2-N,N-bis(2-aminoalkyl)-1,2-alkyl diamine derivatives as a curing agent for epoxy resins, as an intermediate product in the production of triisocyanates, as a starter for polyetherols, and/or as monomers for the production of polyamides, to triisocyanates derived from the 2-N,N-bis(2-aminoalkyl)-1,2-alkyl diamine derivatives of formula (I), and to a method for the production of said triisocyanates.

The invention relates to a hardenable composition of epoxy resins, reactive thinning agents containing epoxy groups and the hardener 2,2',6,6'-tettramethyl-4,4'-methylene-bis(cyclohexylamine), the hardening of the composition and the thus obtained hardened epoxy resin, in addition to the corresponding use of 2,2',6,6'-tetramethyl-4,4'-methylene-bis(cyclohexylamine) as a hardener for epoxy resins in hardenable compositions with reactive thinning agents containing epoxy groups.

Cured epoxy resins are widely used because of their outstanding mechanical and chemical properties. Epoxy resins based on bisphenol-A or bisphenol-F diglycidyl ethers are typically used, but are problematic in many fields due to their effects on the endocrine system. The present invention relates to 2-phenyl-1,3-propanediol diglycidyl ether derivatives and curable epoxy resin compositions based thereon as alternatives to bisphenol-A or bisphenol-F diglycidyl ethers or epoxy resin compositions based thereon.
