摘要:
The invention concerns a method for preparing a dilithium initiator for use in anionic polymerisation, a method for preparing by anionic polymerisation a living diene elastomer provided with a carbon-lithium group at each of its chain ends, and a method for preparing a three-block copolymer from said living diene elastomer. The inventive method for preparing a dilithium initiator consists in reacting in an aliphatic or alicylic hydrocarbon solvent a first reagent consisting of a dialkenyl benzene and a second reagent consisting of secondary butyl lithium, so that the ratio of the number of moles of the first reagent over the number of moles of the second reagent is substantially equal to 0.5, and said method is characterised in that it consists in causing said reagents to react in the presence of a diamine, so that the resulting initiator essentially consists of a double adduct resulting from the addition of a secondary butyl lithium on each of the double bonds borne by said dialkenyl benzene.

The invention relates to the use of an adhesive composition between a vulcanized rubber part and a crude, prevulcanized, or vulcanized rubber part, the composition being made of at least one highly unsaturated elastomer selected from among the group consisting of: natural rubber; polyisoprene; polybutadiene; styrene-butadiene, styrene-isoprene, and butadiene-isoprene copolymers; and styrene-butadiene-isoprene terpolymers, wherein an aliphatic solvent and a "curing" system contain at least one stable aryl dinitrile oxide.

The present invention relates to a process for preparing a functionalized diene elastomer, in particular a functionalized polybutadiene with a high level of cis-1,4 linkages that has both a high Mooney viscosity and a reduced polydispersity index. The process according to the invention comprises the reaction of a catalyst system with at least one conjugated diene monomer to be polymerized then the addition of a functionalizing agent to the polymer thus obtained, the catalyst system comprising: - optionally a preforming conjugated diene, - a salt of one or more rare earth metal(s), - an inert hydrocarbon-based solvent, - an alkylating agent and - a halogen donor with exclusion of alkylaluminium sesquihalides, said reaction being carried out at a polymerization temperature less than or equal to 30°C, preferably between 0°C and 25°C.

The inventive plasticiser system for plasticising a diene rubber composition is based on MES or TDAE oils and an C5/vinylaromatic fraction resin, in particular a fraction C5 and styrene copolymer. Said rubber composition exhibits an improved abrasion and cut resistance and is based on at least one type of diene elastomer, a reinforcing filler, a reticulation system and a plasticiser system comprising from 5 to 35 pce of MES or TDAE oils and from 5 to 35 pce of said resin (pce= parts in percent by weight of elastomer). Method for producing the inventive composition, the use thereof for producing a final or semi-final product for a motor vehicle ground holding system, in particular for a tyre and the belt thread thereof are also disclosed.
