The invention relates to a thermally reversible hot melt adhesive that is isocyanate-free, moisture independent, crosslinkable and thermally reversible. The thermally reversible hot melt adhesive may be repeatedly heated and cooled without negatively affecting the performance of the adhesive. The thermally reversible composition may also be used as a primer layer. The thermally reversible hot melt adhesive and primer are particularly well suited for end use applications such as packaging, graphic arts, construction, footwear, textiles, general assembly, automotive and consumer goods.

An electrical insulation system comprises a first insulation layer (60) comprising a first polymer and a first filler in the form of nanoparticles, and a second insulation layer (70) comprising a second polymer and a second filler in the form of chromium oxide, Cr 2 O 3 , iron oxide, Fe 2 O 3 , or a mixture of chromium oxide and iron oxide. At least one of the first and the second insulation layers (60, 70) is in the form of a solid and flat sheet. By an insulation system combining the first insulation layer with well dispersed nanoparticles and the second insulation layer filled with Cr 2 O 3 particles and/or Fe 2 O 3 particles, a synergetic effect of the two insulation layers provides an excellent shield and resistance of the insulation system against electrical discharges. The sheet material allows anybody to put together an insulation system without any special equipment.

Ein photovoltaisches Modul mit guter Schichtenhaftung wird unter Verwendung einer Mehrschichtfolie als Rückabdeckung hergestellt, wobei die Mehrschichtfolie folgende Schichten enthält: a) Eine der Solarzelle zugewandte Schicht aus einer Polyamidformmasse, c) eine Mittelschicht aus einer Polyesterformmasse sowie e) eine nach außen hin angeordnete Schicht aus einer Polyamidformmasse,
wobei die Haftung zwischen den Schichten durch eine Maßnahme erzeugt wird, die ausgewählt ist aus 1. Zusatz von 0,1 bis 60 Gew.-% Polyamin-Polyamid-Pfropfcopolymer zur Schicht gemäß a) und/oder zur Schicht gemäß e); 2. An insulating label stock includes a thermal insulating layer, which may a fiberfill batt. The batt is laminated to at least one layer of film, paper or fabric. The label stock can be wrapped around a container, such as a can, bottle or pouch. The label stock may be coated with a coating material so that it is printable, thus imparting both insulating properties and print capability to a container.

This invention discloses a process and a necessary article to simultaneously thermally treat at least two thermoplastics. The process utilizes the necessary compartmentalized or zoned pellet construction wherein the major amount of each thermoplastic component is located within individual compartments or zones of the pellet such that the components of the reaction during thermal processing and/or reactions with compounds in the atmosphere such as oxygen are less than the reaction if the thermoplastics were homogeneously dispersed in the pellet. This invention allows the components of the multi-component pellets to be thermally treated together without significant degradation and/or stored in air or in the presence of oxygen without significant degradation.
