Also described is a magnetic head comprising a head and a lubricant layer over at least a portion of the head, the lubricant layer comprising a composition according to the invention. The magnetic recording medium and the magnetic head may be used to manufacture computer disk drives, compact disk drives, audio equipment, and video equipment.

摘要： A new inflating device (10) and method for inflating an inflatable object are described. The inflating device includes two compartments: one (1) containing a gas-generating agent and the other (12) containing an activating agent. When mixed, the gas-generating agent and the activating agent produces a gas in situ. The device further includes an activator (13) connected to both compartments and is capable of effectuating mixing between the two agents upon activation. A hose assembly (14) of the inflating device delivers a the gas generated to an inflatable object, such as a flat tire.

摘要： A new sealant container and a tyre sealing and inflating device are described. Methods of utilising the device also are described. The new device includes a sealant container (13) with a sealant composition; but it preferably does not include an internal propellant and preferably is not aerosol-based. In use, the sealant container is connected to a flat tyre and to a pressure source (18) which provides an external propellant. As the external propellant passes through the sealant container, the sealant composition inside the sealant container is carried to a flat tyre (11). The tyre puncture is sealed by the sealant composition, and the flat tyre is inflated by the propellant.

摘要： A tire sealer and inflating composition and products made therefrom are described. The tire sealer and inflating composition includes a sealant, a non-flammable propellant with an ozone depletion potential of zero or substantially close to zero, and one or more aromatic hydrocarbons capable of lowering the vapor pressure of the non-flammable propellant. Moreover, the tire sealer and inflating composition has a vapor pressure less than about 180 psig at 130° F. A preferred propellant is 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane, although other fluorocarbons can also be used. A preferred aromatic hydrocarbon is AROMATIC 150, which is a mixture of aromatic compounds. The tire sealer and inflating composition can either be aqueous or non-aqueous. The disclosed tire sealer and inflating composition is capable of inflating a flat tire or other inflatable objects and seal a puncture wound.
