Abstract:
A process for regeneration of a catalyst bed which is deactivated in the context of a heterogeneously catalyzed partial dehydrogenation of a hydrocarbon, in which, at elevated temperature, a gas containing molecular oxygen is conducted through the deactivated catalyst bed and, in the course of the regeneration, the molecular oxygen content of the regeneration gas is increased several fold and the increase of the carbon dioxide content of the regeneration gas on flowing through the deactivated catalyst bed is restricted to values £ 5% by volume.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the continuous heterogeneously catalyzed partial dehydration of at least one hydrocarbon to be dehydrated in a reactor, said reactor being produced from a composite material. On its side contacting the reaction chamber, the reactor consists of a steel B having a specific elemental composition, which, on the side facing away from the reaction chamber, is plated either directly or via an intermediate copper, or nickel or copper and nickel layer onto a steel A having a specific elemental composition. The invention also relates to methods for partial oxidations of the dehydrated hydrocarbon and to the reactor as such. Steel A is a high-grade chromium-nickel steel having a low Si content (
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the heterogeneously catalysed partial gas phase oxidation of propylene to form acrylic acid in the presence of propane as an inert diluent gas. According to said method, cyclopropane as an impurity is largely avoided in the reaction gas starting mixture and raw propylene is used as a propylene source.
Abstract:
A process for preparing acrolein or acrylic acid or a mixture thereof as a target product from propane, in which, in a reaction zone A, propane is partially dehydrogenated under heterogeneous catalysis, molecular hydrogen formed in this way is combusted partly to water and the product gas A thus formed in reaction zone A is used without secondary component removal to charge a reaction zone B in which propylene present in product gas A is partially oxidized to the target product. The target product is removed from the product gas B formed in reaction zone B and the residual gas I which remains, after an aftertreatment thereof comprising a CO2 scrubbing and a partial discharge, is recycled into reaction zone A.
Abstract:
A process for preparing acrolein or acrylic acid or a mixture thereof from propane, in which propane is dehydrogenated in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst in a reaction zone A and the propylene formed is partially oxidized heterogeneously in a reaction zone, wherein the reaction zone A is operated in the loop mode and the reaction gas mixture feedstream A fed to the reaction zone A contains added molecular hydrogen which is added to this feedstream as late as possible.
