    摘要: The invention concerns a system for monitoring the concentration of analytes in body fluids, in particular in interstitial fluid and comprises a catheter having an implantable region and an outlet opening for withdrawing fluid in particular body fluid. A first and a second analytical zone are contacted sequentially with fluid from the catheter and undergo a detectable change when an analyte is present. The analytical zones can be contacted manually with fluid and also preferably in an automated fashion by means of a device. A system according to the invention additionally has an analytical device for analysing the analytical zones in order to determine the concentration of the analyte on the basis of changes caused by the analyte. A further subject matter of the present invention are catheters for use in systems according to the invention as well as magazines containing test zones.

    摘要: The invention relates to a microsampler piercing system for removing a sample of bodily fluid from a body part. Said system comprises: a sampling unit with a piercing element and a piercing device with a drive, which is used to displace a sampling unit along a displacement path, in order to allow the piercing element to penetrate and be withdrawn from the skin of the body part by means of a piercing and retraction displacement; an adjusting device for adjusting the piercing depth of the wound that is to be pierced; and a control unit for controlling the piercing and retraction displacement with the following sequential displacement phases: a propulsion phase (V), in which the piercing element (5) penetrates the skin to a defined pierced depth (dm); a withdrawal phase (R1), in which the piercing element (5) is partially withdrawn over a withdrawal distance (?d), slowing down towards the end of the withdrawal phase (R1) so that it is lodged in the skin at a defined pierced remainder depth (dr); and a collection phase (S), in which the piercing element remains lodged in the skin and the sampling unit takes a sample of bodily fluid. The adjusting device is configured in such a way that the defined pierced depth can be adjusted independently of the defined pierced remainder depth that is defined by temporal means , in relation to the collection phase.

    摘要: A supply of lancets (28) for a multi-use lancing device are carried by a tape (22) and sequentially brought from a storage position to an activating position by advancing the tape around a bend (39). The lancets are non-circular in cross-section along their longitudinal lengths, and in their activating position they extend from the tape such that their sharp tips (31) are available for lancing tissue. The carrying tape can be arranged in reel-to-reel format in a housing having a lancing opening. The lancets can be integral with the tape and activated to move the lancet through the lancing opening by moving the tape along its tape path or by translating a dedicated service loop of the tape. The lancets can also be independent from the tape and activated through the lancing opening by a separate lancing actuator. A test media can be included on the carrying tape and the housing can contain a sensor to yield an integrated lancing and testing device.
