A catalyst composition comprising at least about 10% by weight pentasil, at least about 12% by weight Y-type zeolite at a pentasil to Y zeolite ratio of at least 0.25, and wherein the pentasil and Y zeolite comprise at least about thirty-five percent of the catalyst have been shown to optimize light olefin yields and LPG from FCC processes. Embodiments having matrix surface areas greater than 25 m2/g, phosphorous and rare earth are preferred. The compositions of this invention are particularly useful in typical fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) processes.

A method for synthesizing small crystals of silicoaluminophosphate-34 (SAPO-34) molecular sieves with high structural purity. The method includes forming a first slurry and a second slurry which are aged separately to form a first aged slurry and a second aged slurry. The first slurry includes a first source of phosphorus, a first source of aluminium, a first source of silicon, and at least one first organic structure directing agent. The second slurry includes a second source of phosphorus, a second source of aluminium, a second source of silicon, and at least one second organic structure directing agent. Then, the first aged slurry and the second aged slurry are combined to form a mixture of aged slurries. Finally, crystallization of silicoaluminophosphate molecular sieves comprising the SAPO-34 molecular sieves is induced from the mixture of aged slurries.

Disclosed is a waterproofing membrane that comprises a carrier sheet, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer on one surface of the carrier sheet, and a protective coating layer on the adhesive layer. The protective coating layer comprises a highly reflective protective coating layer operative to bond to concrete cast against it, particularly one that is produced from an aqueous coating comprising an acrylic emulsion, a filler, and a white pigment. The pigment volume concentration of the filler plus white pigment is greater than or equal to 55% by volume. The protective coating layer protects the membrane against weather exposure, tolerates foot traffic and strongly adheres to concrete cast against it. Also disclosed is a waterproofing membrane comprising a carrier sheet, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer, a protective coating layer, and a highly releasable bonding layer. The preferred highly releasable bonding layer comprises nanoscale silica and a binder.

The composition comprises zeolite, yttrium, and at least one element selected from the group consisting of magnesium and manganese. Surface retarder coating compositions of the invention are based on the use of at least one non-Ordinary Portland Cement (non-OPC) binder and at least one OPC set retarder agent, which are provided in powder form that can be mixed with water at the construction site. The coating is applied onto the surface of a mould or formwork using roller or spray equipment, and concrete can then be cast within 30-60 minutes against the coating. The OPC set-retarding agent operates to retard setting of the concrete so that it can be de-moulded the next day and its surface can be removed using a high pressure water spray to reveal aggregate embedded beneath the removed surface.

Catalytic cracking catalyst compositions and processes for cracking hydrocarbons to maximize light olefins production are disclosed. Catalyst compositions comprise at least one zeolite having catalytic cracking activity under catalytic cracking conditions, preferably Y-type zeolite, which zeolite has low amounts of yttrium in specified ratios to rare earth metals exchanged on the zeolite. Catalyst and processes of the invention provide increased yields of light olefins and gasoline olefins during a FCC process as compared to conventional lanthanum containing Y-type zeolite FCC catalysts.
