    摘要: The brake or coupling system (1) comprises a first piston (2) arranged in a first piston cylinder (3) thereby forming a first piston chamber (5) and a second piston (8) arranged in a second piston cylinder (9) thereby forming a second piston chamber (10). The first piston (2) is adapted to be displaced between a braking position and a rest position. The first piston (2) is spring biased in the direction of its rest position, and the second piston (8) is adapted to adjust a distance (X) provided between a friction element (6) and a rotatable element (7) in the rest position of the first piston (2) by means of adjustment of a volume of hydraulic fluid trapped in the second piston chamber (10). At least one spring element is arranged to act between the first and second pistons (2, 8). The first and second pistons (2, 8) are so arranged that a hydraulic pressure in the first and second piston chambers (5, 10), respectively, will urge the first and second pistons (2, 8) in opposite directions, thereby biasing the at least one spring element.

Multiple lines of guide grooves (126) for rollingly fitting a part of the spherical bodies (58) therein are formed in the inner surface of a large diameter hole (38), a restricting step part (42), and the inner surface of a small diameter hole (39) to have an inwardly recessed curved shape in cross section and to be extended in the axial direction of an insert shaft (59). Thus, the parking brake state can be provided by a simple structure which does not consume electric power.

    摘要: A parking brake system is provided in which a parking brake state is obtained by forward movement of a parking piston (44) slidably fitted into a casing (23) with the rear side of the parking piston (44) facing a parking control fluid pressure chamber (47), and the forwardly moved state of the parking piston (44) is mechanically locked by a lock mechanism (31). An insertion shaft (59) and a casing (23), which form part of the lock mechanism (31), are formed so as to position spheres (58) radially inward when the parking piston (44) is at a retreat limit and position the spheres (58) radially outward when a lock piston (56) moves to a forward position in response to forward movement of the parking piston (44) from the retreat limit, and a plurality of guide grooves extending in the axial direction of the insertion shaft (59) are provided on the outer face of the insertion shaft (59), the guide grooves having a concavely curved cross-sectional shape with a diameter that is equal to or larger than the diameter of the spheres (58). This enables an automatic parking brake state to be obtained by a simple structure without consuming power.
