    摘要: The present invention relates to a brake system (20) for simultaneous braking of the trailer and the tower, comprising an air compressor (1) to be used for air vacuuming, an air relief valve (2) associated with the air compressor (1), an air tank (3) for storing pressure and air, a trailer control valve (6) used for simultaneous braking of the trailer and the tower during the braking by means of a signal received from the brake system of the towing vehicle, a trailer brake control valve (8) for braking of the towed vehicle that has a brake system, which valve is associated with a plurality of connecting lines and comprising at least one port, and a supply line (9) for supplying an air flow from the trailer brake control valve (8), and a brake line (10). The brake system (20) comprises different types of trailer control valves that are in communication with the air tank (3) and connected to the brake mechanism of the towing vehicle, and a two-way quick exhaust valve (7) that is in communication with these valves and correlates two warnings between them so as to provide them to the next receiver as a single output.

    摘要: A method of detecting a leak in an air trailer brake circuit of a trailer includes providing a controller (202), a base valve (302), a first sensor (410), a second sensor (310), a leak control valve (306) having a solenoid, a pneumatic fluid supply (402), a first brake output (318), and a second brake output (322). The method further includes supplying a first pressure to an inlet of the base valve and outputting a second pressure from an outlet of the base valve. The first pressure is detected with the first sensor and the second pressure is detected with the second sensor. The method also includes communicating the detected first pressure and the second pressure to the controller, and comparing a difference between first pressure and the second pressure to a threshold. A leak is detected in the air trailer brake circuit if the difference exceeds the threshold.
