An advancing apparatus for sheet film (17) has a first pair of transport rollers (3, 5) effecting transport of a sheet film (17) fed to the roller nip by suction means. The pair of transport rollers (3, 5) mounted on rotatable shafts (2, 4) is associated with a reflective switch (14) provided in the transport path of the sheet film. The reflective switch (14) arranged above the transport path of the sheet film (17) is associated with a mirror (10c) which is positioned beneath the transport path of the sheet film (17) and towards which the sensor of the reflective switch (14) is directed. Mirror (10c) is mounted to a retaining means (10) which is supported in a space-saving manner on the shaft (2) arranged beneath the film transport path and positively engages with a stationary stop means (11) preventing rotation. With respect to the transport plane of the sheet film (17), mirror (10c) is arranged in an inclined position so that the sensor directed towards the mirror also extends at an angle relative to the sheet film plane. This arrangement guarantees that no erroneous signals are produced since a sheet film (17) passing the reflective switch (10c, 14) deflects the sensor beam so as to be ineffective.

Movement of the cup holder (12) and exact positioning of the cups (11) in the processing station (B) are effected in that the cup holder (12) frictionally rests on a driven endless belt (15), in that an incrementally driven indexing wheel (19) is brought into engagement with the cups (11), and in that a sensor means (27) is arranged in the vicinity of the indexing wheel (19), detecting the passage of each cup (11) and determining the indexing position of the indexing wheel (19) in which a cup (11) is located in its processing position (B).

An analyzer is described which includes an input station (1) for trays (5) carrying containers (4) filled with body fluids. It consists of a plurality of tray tracks (3) arranged side by side and whose central axes (6) intersect in a point (7) which also forms the fulcrum (84) of a pivotally arranged transport path (12). The transport path can be aligned with any of the tray tracks (3). By means of a tray movement member (14) the tray (5) can be transported from the input station (1) to the processing stations (15 or 16) and back. The exits (10) of the tray tracks (3) are associated with retaining means (19) which are controlled in the same way as the stepping motors (61 and 69) in response to sensors (27, 32, 68) and a microprocessor (78).

Receiver (2) and transmitter (3) are arranged on a pivotable transport path (12) for the containers (4) between an input station (20) and two processing stations (24, 25). During the transport of container (4) through the scanning device (1), the intensity of the scanning beam (14) of the transmitter elements (7) can be controlled from a low to a high level by means of a control unit (40) comprising a microprocessor (43). Shape and/or size of the sealing member (8) is thereby detected by means of the low intensity (50) and transmittance or type of the sealing member (8) by means of the high intensity (51). In this way, the transport direction of the containers (4) can be controlled such that a container (4) having a stopper (81) is moved to an opening means (26) and a container (4) with or without a cup (84) is moved to an aspirator (27) for body fluids (9).

Diaprojektoren beschrieben, das nach der aktiven Triangulationsmethode arbeitet, und bei dem die Nachteile der bisher bekannten Anordnungen, nämlich Beeinflussung durch das Projektionslicht und Ungenauigkeit der Einstellung durch das Trägheitsmoment des Stellmotors dadurch vermieden werden, daß als Meßlicht gepulstes Infrarotlicht verwendet wird, das von einem IR-Doppelphotoempfänger (2, 3) empfangen und in elektrische Signale umgewandelt und in getrennten Wechselspannungsverstärkern (4, 5) verstärkt wird, daß das Meßlicht in Abhängigkeit von dem empfangenen Signal geregelt wird, und daß eine spezielle Gegenkopplung bei der Ansteuerung des Stel-Imotors (18) verwendet wird.
