Die Behandlungsmedien werden bei diesen Rundläufermaschinen über Drehschieber (19) zu den einzelnen Düsen (9) geführt. Dabei sind die Medienzuströmwege festgelegt, so daß je nach Drehzahl der Rundläufermaschine unterschiedliche Zuströmmengen auftreten. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die Zuströmmengen exakt zu definieren und unterschiedlichen Bedürfnissen anpassen zu können, wobei bei verschiedenen Behandlungsmedien auch deren Mengenverhältnis zueinander veränderbar sein soll. Diese Aufgabe wird bei einem Verfahren der eingangs genannten Art dadurch gelöst, daß die Behandlungsdauer zum Reinigen und/oder Sterilisieren während des Umlaufs der Flaschen (2) in Abhängigkeit von dem gewählten Reinigungsprogramm veränderbar ist.
