The distance and angle between the two cameras (10, 12; 13; 14) are well-known and the cameras (10, 12; 13; 14) are arranged to record simultaneous images of a subject. Subsequently, these simultaneous images can be combined to provide a three dimensional image of the subject, thereby providing enhanced visual information. One advantageous use of such images with enhanced visual information is person identification, e.g. by face recognition. Another advantageous use is the recording of a user interaction with a virtual user interface provided by projection of a representation of a user interface to a surface and registering user interactions with the projected image.
