    摘要: A brake fluid pressure control device for use in an automotive brake system including a master cylinder (1), a wheel brake (10), and a main fluid line (2) connecting the master cylinder (1) to the wheel brake (10). This device includes a power pump (3) provided in a fluid supply line for discharging fluid into the main fluid line (2). An on-off valve (4) is provided in the main fluid line (2) upstream of the point at which the outlet circuit of the pump (3) merges with the main fluid line (2). A fluid reservoir (5) is provided in the fluid supply line upstream of the pump (3). The reservoir (5) includes a housing and a piston (6) slidably mounted in the housing to partition the interior of the housing into a first chamber (8) and a second chamber (9) and biased by a spring (7) toward the first chamber (8). The spring (7) keeps the fluid pressure in the first chamber (8) above the atmospheric pressure. For automatic braking, a changeover valve (11) is changed over to supply fluid in the first chamber (8) into the inlet port of the pump (3). When the automatic braking is off, the inlet and outlet ports of the pump (3) are connected to the second and first chambers (8,9) of the reservoir (5), respectively, to supply fluid into the first chamber (8).

    摘要: The proposal is for an electronically controllable brake actuation system for motor vehicles with a master cylinder (2) operable by a pedal (1) with braking force transmitters (4, 5) controllable via an electronic control unit (3) to which the wheel brakes (7, 8) of the vehicle are directly connected and can be connected to the master cylinder (2) via hydraulic lines (11, 12) which can be blocked by valves devices (16, 17), with at least one sensor device (13, 22, 23) to recognise the deceleration instruction and at least one simulator chamber (14, 15) co-operating with the master cylinder. In order to improve the operation of such a system, especially the dynamics of the brake pressure transmitter, while reducing the response time of the entire system, the invention proposes that the valve systems taken the form of electromagnetic valves (16, 17) controllable with a delay by the electronic control unit (3). Low-pressure stores (51, 52) are connected to the pressure chambers of the brake pressure transmitters (4, 5) and connected to the wheel brakes (7, 8) in the released position of the brake pressure transmitters (4, 5).

    摘要: An accumulator (28) for an anti-lock brake system includes a valve body portion (31) defining an accumulator chamber (30), an accumulator piston (38) slidably disposed within the accumulator chamber (30), a spring (58), and a cover (42). The accumulator chamber (30) has a fluid inlet (32) for connection to a source of pressurized fluid at a first end of the chamber (30). The chamber (30) has a second end (36) open to atmosphere. The accumulator piston (38) separates the first end (32) of the chamber (30) from the second end (36) of the chamber (30). The spring (58) is disposed in the accumulator chamber (30) between the piston (38) and the second end (36) of the chamber (30) and biases the piston (38) toward a first position. The cover (42) closes the connection between the second end (36) of the chamber (30) and atmosphere and has micro-porous structure. The micro-porous structure is configured to block water molecules and to pass constituent molecules of air, thereby enabling air to be communicated across while preventing the intrusion of water into the chamber through the second end (36).

    摘要: A brake pressure control system is proposed which works on the fluid-return principle. This system contains a low pressure accumulator (9) which must be emptied at the end of a braking action with brake pressure control. For this purpose the pump (12) is controlled for a certain time. In this emptying phase, the motor (13) is controlled by pulse-width modulation. During the phases of the control signal during which no voltage is applied to the motor (13), a measurement of the electromotive counterforce is performed. This counterforce is a measure of the speed of the motor (13) or the speed of the connected pump (12). If the speed or the change is speed exceeds a given value, then this can be accepted as an indication that the low pressure accumulator is empty. As soon as such a signal appears, the emptying phase is ended by switching off the motor (13). In this way the emptying phase is kept as short as possible.
