A hydrophilic polymer shaped article suitable for use as a soft contact lens is treated with an alkyl ester of an alkylene dicarboxylic acid, where the alkyl groups are CH 3 or C 2 H 5 and the alkylene group is C, to C 6 , so as to provide, at least on the surfaces thereof, a less hydrophilic polymeric structure. The effect of the modifying treatment is to inhibit penetration of the polymer shape by proteins and other substances in the eye environment, whereby the development of clouding and discolouration of the lens material during us is significantly reduced.

The invention relates to a method for treating a surface (12) of a moulded part (10), produced in a 3D printing method, with a surface treatment means, wherein holding means (15) are arranged on the moulded part (10) which enable a treatment of the surface (12) in a treatment chamber, without the surface (12) making contact with the walls of the treatment chamber. The invention further relates to a corresponding method for producing a moulded part (10) in a 3D printing method, the corresponding dataset for controlling a 3D printer, and a computer program product which determines a number of holding means (15) on the basis of the geometry data of the moulded part (10).

Provided are: a photosensitive resin composition for cell culture substrates that enables the low-cost manufacture of a cell culture substrate, that can easily form patterns of various shapes when providing a pattern on the surface of a cell culture substrate, that has low cytotoxicity, and that can form a cell culture substrate with which cells can be cultured well; a cell culture substrate that is formed using the photosensitive resin composition; and a cell culture substrate manufacturing method that uses the photosensitive resin composition. In the photosensitive resin composition, which includes a photopolymerizable monomer (A) and a photopolymerization initiator (B), the photopolymerizable monomer (A) used contains a defined amount of a polyfunctional monomer (A1) that is at least trifunctional, and the content of the photopolymerization initiator (B) is within a prescribed range.
