Le couple est important seulement lorsque les valeurs dépassent simultanément une vitesse relative de rotation préréglée et tombent au-dessous d'une température préréglée.

Bei einer Antriebsanordnung für Kraftfahrzeuge wird die Hinterachse unmittelbar und die Vorderachse über eine Flüssigkeitsreibungskupplung (4) mittelbar angetrieben. Um einerseits eine Übersteuerung, anderseits aber möglichst kurze Bremswege zu erreichen und damit die an ein Rallye-Fahrzeug zu stellenden Forderungen zu erfüllen, ist im Antriebsstrang zur Vorderachse parallel zur Fiüssigkeitsreibungskupplung (4) eine Einwegkupplung, z.B. ein Klemmrollenfreilauf (8), eingebaut. Die Einwegkupplung (4) ist so ausgebildet bzw. angeordnet, dass sie dann gelöst ist, wenn die Drehzahl des zur Hinterachse führenden Antriebsstrangteiles (2) jene des zur Vorderachse führenden Antriebsstrangteiles überschreitet.

The differential unit comprises a differential casing (31) rotatably mounted within the transmission casing and drivingly connected to the output shaft of the change-speed gearing, a pair of pinion gears (32) rotatably mounted within the differential casing, a plurality of first side gears (33a-33c) concentrically mounted within the differential casing for relative rotation and being meshed with the pinion gears, the first side gears being formed in different diameter and arranged to be drivingly connected to one of the drive shafts, a second side gear (34) rotatably mounted within the differential casing, the second side gear being meshed with the pinion gears and drivingly connected to the other drive shaft, and a shift mechanism (30b) for selectively connecting the first side gears to the one of the drive shafts.

This elongated valve element (82) is made from a bimetallic strip so as to be temperature compensated and the outlet port (78) is provided with a main passage (94) as well as a bleed passage (96, 96') that is cleaned when the valve element is opened.
