摘要: An elongate fastener is provided for securing a pair of panels (12) together wherein the panels include respective bores (14) therein. Each end of the fastener includes an expansible end portion (20) thereon which is arranged to be received within the respective bore. A wedge member (28) is mounted within each expansible end portion for longitudinal sliding movement between a disengaged position and an engaged position wherein the expansible end portions (20) are expanded relative to the disengaged position. An actuator (32) is located centrally between the expansible end portions (20) for pivotal movement about an actuator axis which lies perpendicularly to a longitudinal axis of the fastener. The fastener permits a pair of panels (12) to be mounted with one end of one panel abutted against the other panel wherein the actuator is accessible from a recessed installation aperture (42) on an inner face of one of the panels. The resulting joint is secure while being hidden from view using a one-piece fastener.

摘要: There is provided a broadcast receiving apparatus which is capable of performing a tuning process in a short period of time even in the case where a large number of tuning requests are issued. A tuning request reception section (204) receives an issue tuning request. A tuning request storage section (205) stores the tuning request received by the tuning request reception section (204). A tuning process section including a tuning request acquisition section (206) and a tuning execution section (207) performs a tuning process for the broadcast signal corresponding to the tuning request, and if a next tuning request is issued during a tuning process, performs a next tuning process in accordance with one of the tuning requests stored in the tuning request storage section (205). A tuning request which is stored in the tuning request storage section (205) during a tuning process is erased by a tuning request erasure section (208) after the tuning process.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for automatically preparing a working plan for producing a product comprised of several components, e.g. a wire harness. The inventive method involves the following steps: a) providing a product data model of the product, in which each component is described by a partial data set containing a classification characteristic; b) preparing a database, whereby the data sets contained therein are divided into classes according to the classification characteristic, whereby each class contains one or more selection rules, whereby a manufacturing partial process provided with an index is assigned to each selection rule, and each manufacturing partial process contains one or more working cycles; c) automatically selecting the class applying to the component by using the classification characteristic; d) automatically selecting a manufacturing partial process suited for producing the component by using the selection rule; e) automatically establishing the sequence of the manufacturing partial processes by using the respective index.

摘要: A communications method achieving high transmission efficiency is provided. Provided with permission for communications in a specified time period (P1), a wireless station (2) calculates the number of packets transmittable in the time period (P1), and successively sends a series of data packets (109) through (112). A wireless station (3) receives the series of data packets, and then sends a response packet (113). When the wireless stations (2 and 3) completes communications before the time period (P1) passes, a control station (1) forcefully terminates the permission for the communications.

摘要: A diversity receiver carries out error detection, error correction, and data detection on each detected data string (21). An output switching unit (17) outputs a decoded data string (24) of a branch selected by a branch selector (16). The branch selector (16) selects a branch of highest priority in priority information (29) from branches of which a data detection signal (25) indicates that the data is valid and of which the number of error symbols (22) coincides with a minimum value. In the priority information (29), higher priority is assigned to a branch that includes an antenna of which the coverage is closer to that of an antenna included in a branch selected at the immediately-previous time. Thus, selected from the plurality of branches having the minimum number of error symbols (22) is the one that includes the antenna of which the coverage is closest to the coverage of the antenna included in the branch selected at the immediately-previous time. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of misselection of a poor-quality branch, and improve a reception characteristic.
