摘要: The present discloure provides methods for predicting a patient's response to biglycan therapy for diseases or conditions associated with an abnormal level or activity of biglycan; disorders associated with an unstable cytoplasmic membrane, for example, due to an unstable dystrophin associated protein complex (DAPC); disorders associated with abnormal synapses or neuromuscular junctions, including those resulting from an abnormal MuSK activation or acetylcholine receptor (AChR) aggregation. Examples of such diseases include muscular dystrophies, such as Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy, Becker's Muscular Dystrophy, neuromuscular disorders and neurological disorders. This application also provides combination therapeutics, such as a biglycan therapeutic and a utrophin therapeutic.

摘要: In one exemplary embodiment, an apparatus includes a memory storing data and a processor performing operations. The apparatus generates or maintains an accumulation tree for the stored data -- an ordered tree structure with a root node, leaf nodes and internal nodes. Each leaf node corresponds to a portion of the data. A depth of the tree remains constant. A bound on a degree of each internal node is a function of a number of leaf nodes of a subtree rooted at the internal node. Each node of the tree has an accumulation value. Accumulation values of the root and internal nodes are determined by hierarchically employing an accumulator over the accumulation values of the nodes lying one level below the node in question. The accumulation value of the root node is a digest for the tree.

摘要: In one aspect, a method and apparatus for determining a value for at least one parameter of a configuration of a model associated with structure of which view data has been obtained including detecting at least one feature in the view data, and determining the value for the at least one parameter of the configuration of the model based at least in part on the at least one feature. In another aspect, a method and apparatus for detecting at least one blood vessel from object view data obtained from a scan of the at least one blood vessel including generating a model of the at least one blood vessel, the model having a plurality of parameters describing a model configuration, determining a hypothesis for the model configuration based, at least in part, on at least one feature detected in the object view data, and updating the model configuration according to a comparison with the object view data to arrive at a final model configuration, so that the final model configuration represents the at least one blood vessel.

摘要: In one exemplary embodiment, a method includes: modeling, by at least one processor, a problem as an approximated exogenous Markov decision process (X-MDP); converting, by the at least one processor, the approximated X-MDP into a Markov decision process (MDP); solving, by the at least one processor, the MDP using at least one search algorithm to obtain a decision; and returning, by the at least one processor, the decision.
