    摘要: The invention relates to a method for in-process integrity test of a filter. The method may comprise the steps of: coupling a gas source to an input side of a filter ( 202 ) without removing the filter from a dispenser system, the gas source supplying a gas ( 22 ) and controlling a pressure of the gas; coupling a tube ( 204 ) to an output side of the filter ( 202 ), the tube being filled with a liquid ( 20 ): increasing the pressure while monitoring the tube ( 204 ), with a light beam ( 21 ), for a displacement of the liquid ( 20 ) by one or more gas bubbles (23); and determining a value of the pressure at which the displacement of the liquid ( 20 ) is detected.

    摘要: There is provided a honeycomb structure which is excellent in such a resistance to thermal shock as to prevent generation of cracks or dissolved losses in partition wall intersections as critical damages for a filter and which is capable of securing a sufficient bonding strength to partition walls even in a case where plugging portions have a high porosity. A honeycomb structure includes: porous partition walls arranged to define cells connecting two end faces to each other; and plugging portions arranged to plug the cells in either end face. A porosity of each plugging portion is 50 to 90%, and an area of pores each having a sectional area of 0.15 mm 2 or more is 30% or more of a total pore area, the sectional area occupying an arbitrary section including a central axis of the plugging portion.

    摘要: A shape-measuring device 1 measures the shape of a object to be measured 1 in which segments are arranged and bonded in rows while relatively moving the object 1 in one direction. The shape-measuring device includes rollers 31 provided corresponding to the rows of segments and displaced to follow unevenness of an end face 1a of the object while being rotated on the end face 1a due to the relative movement, detection means 35 provided corresponding to each roller 31 and detecting the amount of displacement of each roller 31, and calculation means 37 for calculating shape data of the object 1 based on the amount of displacement of the roller 31 detected by the detection means 35. The shape-measuring device 1 can accurately and promptly measure the shape of the object such as a DPF in which segments are bonded in rows.
