    摘要： Apparatus for drilling operations in underground boreholes, comprises: a drilling assembly that can be located in a borehole and is moved along the borehole during the drilling operation; a flexible fluid supply line connected to and in fluid communication with the drilling assembly and extending from the drilling assembly to the surface when the drilling assembly is in the borehole; and an electric cable for providing electric power to the drilling assembly and extending from the drilling assembly to the surface when the drilling assembly is in the borehole; the fluid line and the electric cable are separate, and the electric cable being outside the fluid line. A method for conducting drilling operations using an apparatus as defined above, comprises operating the drilling assembly and directing fluid between the surface and the drilling assembly via the flexible fluid line.

    摘要： This invention provides a novel monomeric insulin (B27K-DTrI, B27K-destripeptide-Insulin), its composition and the method of preparation therefore. Highly pure B27K-DTrI-Insulin is monomeric (non-associative at high concentration and physiological pH) with in-vivo bioactivity being 80% of that of native insulin. B27K-DTrI-Insulin can be produced by enzyme cleavage of a monomeric insulin precursor secreted by yeast instead of by the less efficient enzyme transpeptidation as known in the prior art. The new method increases the total yield and is favorable for industrial production.

    摘要： An audio/visual content distribution system comprises local distribution sub-systems, each including as components at least a head-end server including a gateway server providing a data connection to the internet, and a plurality of receivers connected to the head end server by means of a digital network, the head-end server comprising storage means for storing audio/visual content and being adapted to manage distribution of audio/visual content data to the receivers within the local distribution sub-system; means for providing for each receiver a menu of audio/visual content stored at the respective head-end server and avallable for distribution within the local distribution sub-system; means for receiving a the respective head-end server a request from at least one of the receivers for audio/visual content; means for sending the requested audio/visual content data from the respective head-end server to the or each receiver that requested the audio/visual contents over the digital network; wherein each receiver comprises a local control unit and an audio/visual display, the local control unit comprising a main port by which the display is connected to the network so as to receive audio/visual content from the head end server, and a guest port by which a computer can be connected to the network so as to communicate with the internet via the gateway server. A method of distributing audlofvisual content In such a system comprises routing audio/visual content data and internet data from the head end server via the digital network to the local control unit; and directing audio/visual content to the main port, and internet data to either the main port or the guest port.

Recess means (10) are provided and extend through an upper surface of the lid (2), adjacent a front face thereof, so as to allow for the insertion of release means (11) therethrough and between said one or more teeth (4) and a forward end of said lid (2) and into contact with a movable release bar (9) which acts to deflect the teeth (4) away from the front face of the lid, so as to allow for disengagement between said one or more teeth (4) and said one or more protrusions (6) and subsequent release of said lid (2) from said receptable portion (3).
