Abstract:
A method for selecting a node for performing a network service request. The method comprising monitoring a network comprising a plurality of nodes and updating, periodically and/or upon detecting a change in the network or nodes being monitored, a database with at least information relating to the status of the nodes being monitored, and network conditions on a path between the nodes being monitored and the host entity and/or load on the nodes being monitored. The method further comprising at a selection node (105), receiving (201) a request for a network service issued by a host entity (101); selecting (203), based at least on information obtained (202) from the database, a node (102; 103) for performing the requested network service; and sending (204) a message to the host entity, the message including information identifying the selected node.
Abstract:
A method of calculating broadband access server DHCP user's on-line time, includes these steps: (a) setting the inner time, outer time and traffic threshold for said access server calculating user's data traffic, and the inner time is shorter than the outer time; (b) user accesses the said access server, after authenticated successfully, the access server notifies starting to charge the user's online time; (c) according to each user, said access server establishes a ring list to record data traffic; (d) said access server sets the number of ring list elements as multiple of said outer time to said inner time; (e) said access server inspects the said user's data traffic according to inner time, fills it in content indicated by top element index of ring list, until current data traffic inspected and value recorded by top index are not more than said traffic threshold. The advantage of the invention is that timing is precise and error is small.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a service packet forwarding and processing method and system, and an access point AP. The service forwarding and processing method according to the present invention includes: obtaining change information of a packet forwarding path of a mobile terminal STA; and sending a path update packet to a forwarding device according to the change information of the packet forwarding path of the STA, so that the forwarding device performs update processing on the forwarding path of the STA according to the path update packet. This improves service forwarding efficiency, thereby ensuring service reliability.
Abstract:
A wireless data card includes: a detecting module, adapted to send a notification message to an executing module after detecting a DNS resolution request sent by a computer and detecting that no user account information exists in the wireless data card; and an executing module, adapted to: receive the notification message sent by the detecting module, send prompt information to the computer so as to prompt a user to input the user account information, and write the input user account information into the wireless data card so that the computer can use the user account information to access the Internet through the wireless data card. A working method of the wireless data card is disclosed. The wireless data card and the working method of the wireless data card avoid the inconvenience caused by loss of the driver CD-ROM, work at a low cost, and require no extra memory.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose an Internet Protocol address allocation method and a corresponding relay device. The method includes: receiving, by a relay device, from a DHCP Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol server, an IP address allocated to a first user; after detecting that the IP address allocated to the first user conflicts with a stored IP address already allocated by the DHCP server to a second user, sending, by the relay device, a force renew message to the second user; receiving, by the relay device, a DHCP renew request message sent by the second user, and receiving, from the DHCP server, a DHCP negative acknowledgement message that is sent by the DHCP server in response to the DHCP renew request message; interacting, by the relay device, with the first user and the DHCP server to reallocate an IP address to the first user; and interacting, by the relay device, with the second user and the DHCP server to reallocate an IP address to the second user. In the embodiments of the present invention, an IP address conflict can be recognized; and a problem that some users cannot go online in a scenario of an IP address conflict is resolved by performing message forwarding.
Abstract:
There are provided measures for centralized IP address management for distributed gateways. Such measures exemplarily comprise management of IP addresses for hosts being linked with a plurality of distributed gateway entities via a first host-specific tunnel at a centralized controller entity, and control of the plurality of distributed gateway entities in terms of Internet protocol address management from the centralized controller entity via a second host-specific tunnel on the basis of the managed Internet protocol addresses for the hosts. Accordingly, control-plane and user-plane functions may be separated between the centralized controller entity and the plurality of distributed gateway entities.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provides a resource provisioning method, including: receiving, by a first data center, a resource request message, where the first data center is any data center that receives the resource request message in the system; obtaining, by the first data center and by analyzing the resource request message, at least two destination data centers that provision resources; creating a virtual network; creating a virtual machine for the at least two destination data centers; and adding the virtual machine to the virtual network. By implementing the method, the resource utilization of a data center is improved, administration, maintenance, and operation are simplified, and an occurrence probability of network connection fault or traffic congestion is reduced.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide an IP address assignment method and apparatus, and relate to the communications field, so that a terminal can more easily and conveniently select a proper IP address to initiate a service, thereby avoiding a problem that the terminal needs to adapt to different operators due to APN list maintenance. The IP address assignment method includes: sending, by an IP address assignment apparatus, an IP address and a mobility attribute of the IP address to UE; and selecting, by the UE, an IP address corresponding to a mobility requirement of the UE to initiate a service. The present invention is applied to IP address assignment.
Abstract:
The present invention proposes a method, system and network element which allows securing, customizing and generally improving network equipment (device) configuration and DHCP network address identification, assignment and distribution mechanism, such that network address and parameter configuration, assignment and distribution in a communications network is performed in a more optimum and secure manner. The present invention improves the DHCP protocol using policies based on roles (profiles) directly linked to the physical identification of the device (for example, to its MAC address).
