    摘要: The invention pertains to a process for reducing the sulphur content of a hydrocarbon feedstock to a value of less than 200 ppm, preferably less than 50 ppm, which comprises subjecting a catalyst comprising a Group VIB metal component, a Group VIII metal component, and an organic additive on a carrier to a sulphidation step, and contacting a feedstock with a 95% boiling point of 450°C or less and a sulphur content of 500 ppm or less with the sulphided catalyst under conditions of elevated temperature and pressure to form a product with a sulphur content of less than 200 ppm.
    The organic additive preferably is at least one compound selected from the group of compounds comprising at least two hydroxyl groups and 2-10 carbon atoms, and the (poly)ethers of these compounds.

    摘要: The present invention pertains to an improved nozzle (7) for use in wear-resistant rotary atomizers and to atomizer wheels containing said improved nozzles. Said atomizer wheels and nozzles (7) have the same wear resistance as the ones described in the prior art or even better, but at the same time, the nozzles (7) have been improved to provide microspherical particles with a very narrow particle size distribution.
    The nozzle (7) of the present invention comprises wear-resistant sintered material and has a flow channel in the shape of a vertical slot. Said vertical slot may optionally be uniformly rounded. It was found that when these improved nozzles are used for spray-drying suspensions, microspherical particles with a narrower particle size distribution are obtained than when using nozzles (7) with cylindrical flow channels.

    摘要: Claimed is a process for manufacturing waterproof, water vapour permeable, three-dimensional articles, such as shoes and gloves, of copolyetherester, in which process a three-dimensional mould is treated once or several times with an aqueous dispersion of a copolyetherester in a manner analogous to that employed for a latex dispersion in the rubber industry, followed by heating to obtain a continuous film, after which the moulded article is removed from the mould after cooling, use being made of a dispersion which can be obtained by diluting a solution of the copolyetherester in N-methyl pyrrolidone with a preferably at least partially water miscible anti-solvent, optionally followed by wholly or partially replacing the liquid phase with water, dilution with water, and the removal of the solvent employed if so desired. The articles are suited to be used as such or as inserts in laminates in the form of garments, such as gloves.
