The present invention provides a thermoplastic resin composition for fused deposition modeling, the composition containing: (A) a thermoplastic resin; and (B) a condensed phosphate ester compound represented by a general formula (1) below, wherein the condensed phosphate ester compound has a melting point of 150°C or less or is liquid at ambient temperature. The amount of the condensed phosphate ester compound (B) contained is 1 to 35 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the total amount of the thermoplastic resin (A) and the condensed phosphate ester compound (B). When the resin composition contains a plurality of compounds represented by the general formula (1) in which R11, R12, R13, R14, and R15 are the same, but r is different, having a melting point of 150°C or less or being liquid at ambient temperature encompasses a case where a mixture of the plurality of compounds has a melting point of 150°C or less or is liquid at ambient temperature. In accordance with the present invention, compositions are described which are useful, for example, for the preparation of metal-clad laminate structures, methods for the preparation thereof, and various uses therefor. Invention metal-clad laminate structures are useful, for example, multi-layer board (MLB) industry, in the preparation of burn-in test boards and high reliability boards, applications where low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) is beneficial, in the preparation of boards used in down-hole drilling, and the like.

The present invention relates to a polycarbonate resin composition. According to the present invention, a polycarbonate resin composition, which realizes a high whiteness degree, exhibits less discoloration due to superior heat stability during storage and processing, and has improved fluidity, laser reactivity, and plating adhesion, and a method of preparing the same are provided.

Provided are multistage polymers that comprise (i) a first stage comprising a first copolymer having a first theoretical Tg, the first copolymer being derived from a soft ethylenically-unsaturated monomer, a phosphorus-containing monomer, and an acetoacetoxy monomer; and (ii) a second stage comprising a second polymer having a second theoretical Tg, the second polymer being derived from one or more hard ethylenically-unsaturated monomers. The multistage polymers can be in the form of multilayer particles that comprise (i) a first layer comprising the first copolymer; and (ii) a second layer surrounding at least a portion of the first layer comprising the second polymer. Also provided are aqueous compositions including one or more of the multistage polymers (or multilayer particles) described herein, as well as methods for making the multistage polymers (or multilayer particles) described herein.
