    摘要: The invention concerns a circuit fed via a control valve (2) comprising a fluid inlet (15) connected to a cooling fluid line from the engine (1), and first (32), second (34), and third (36) fluid outlets connected respectively to a cooling radiator (3) of the engine (1), a branch pipe (4) of the cooling radiator (3) of the engine (1), and to a unit heater (5) for heating the passenger compartment. The method comprises controlling the valve (2) in accordance with a specific number of control phases distributed between at least two control modes, a control mode for cooling the engine (1) without heating the space compartment and a control mode for cooling the engine (1) while heating the passenger compartment, and controlling the valve (2) in accordance with at least a third control mode which is set up upon cold start of the engine (1) and for which the valve is controlled to interrupt circulation of the fluid through the valve (2). The invention is applicable to motor vehicle internal combustion engine.

    摘要: The invention relates to a control valve (10) for a fluid circuit comprising a body (12) which is fitted with a fluid inlet (18) and at least two fluid outlets (20, 22 and 24). Moreover, the body defines a cylindrical housing for a control element (26) which turns around an axis of rotation (XX) and which occupies different angular positions in order to control the distribution of the fluid by means of the outlets. Said body (12) consists of a base (14) comprising the fluid inlet (18) and a cylindrical side wall (16) comprising the fluid outlets which are disposed at axial heights and in angular positions selected in relation to the axis of rotation (XX). The rotating element (26) comprises a truncated end (38) which is turned towards the base (14). In this way, the fluid outlets can be controlled using a law which is defined as a function of the angular position of the rotating element in the valve body.

The module houses a control valve (44) which may be moved from a first by-pass position in which the fluid to be cooled passes through the by-pass channel without flowing through the first channels and a normal position in which the fluid for cooling flows through the first channels without passing through the by-pass line.
