A fault detection circuit in a boiler-water level system includes a dual-frequency signal generator which develops two AC components with no associated DC component. The two frequencies are mixed and sent through an impedance matching circuit to match the impedance of the signal generating portion of the system with the impedance of the boiler water under measurement. The impedance-matched signal is then directed to two legs, one leg directed through one of a plurality of electrode probes and then to a first filter circuit, and the other leg is directed a second set of filters. In combination, the filters pass either the higher or the lower of the two frequencies to determine an open or short condition in the level sensing circuitry, as well as a steam vs. water condition.

The bladder (22) is mounted on a bladder support member (34) which provides support for the bladder when in its deflated condition, and through which inflation passages (42) pass for the inflation and deflation of the bladder. The bladder (22) is designed to collapse or deflate rapidly in order to open the valve, enabling the valve to be used in applications such as reverse pulse cleaning of filter elements.

The computerized device compares the IP address received from the DHCP server with the IP address entries of the table stored by the computerized device. If the computerized device detects a correspondence between the IP address received from the DHCP server and an IP address entry within the table, the computerized device automatically initiates a secure or VPN connection with the wireless network associated with the DHCP server. The computerized device therefore actively establishes a secure connection with the wireless network, prior to user login and without user intervention, based upon the computerized device being a client of the wireless network.

Wireless network (10) demands continually increase as wireless service providers pursue additional service capabilities. In a cellular communication system (10), leased lines between remote cell sites (22) and the corresponding Mobile Switching Offices (MSOs) (29) remain a major operating cost. Bandwidth reduction by identification and elimination of payload data and control information which need not be fully replicated because it can be deduced from information accessible or previously transmitted allows fewer lines to support the same bandwidth. A wireless access gateway (30) is operable to aggregate such redundant and regenerable data on a backhaul link between a wireless cell site and the corresponding mobile switching office (MSO) (29) to provide low-latency, type specific lossless bandwidth reduction. The wireless access gateway (30) identifies regenerable information and eliminates portions of the data which the device need not transmit because the data is redundant, or accessible or recreatable, at the receiving side.
