It also relates to two variants of explosive detection kit viz. a readily portable miniaturized disposable drop type variant and a dispersible spray type variant.

An optical fiber package comprising an adhesive for coating optical fibers comprising part A and part B wherein Part A is an aqueous polymeric emulsion of 2-ethylhexylacrylate or butyl acrylate and acrylic acid or methacrylic acid and Part-B is polyvinylbutyral dissolved in isopropyl alcohol. The said system imparts stability to the optical fiber on long range exposure thereby improving performance.

The present disclosure provides a flame retardant composition as well as fibers comprising a matrix and an additive wherein each of the matrix and the additive is independently selected from Ultra High Molecular weight Polyethylene (UHMPE) and Polyphosphazene (PPZ) and wherein, when the matrix is UHMPE, the additive is PPZ and when the matrix is PPZ, the additive is UHMPE. The invention provides a method for the preparation of fentanyl comprising: (a) reacting 4-piperidone hydrochloride monohydrate with aniline in presence of reducing environment to produce 4-anilinopiperidine (4-AP), (b) reacting the 4-AP as obtained from step (a) with phenethyl halide under reflux conditions in highly alkaline medium to give 4-anilino-N-phenethylpiperidine, and (c) converting the 4-anilino-N-phenethylpiperidine to fentanyl by reacting with propionyl chloride in presence of halogenated hydrocarbons, then isolating fentanyl by solvent extraction and purifying by crystallization from petroleum ether at a temperature ranging from 60-80° C.

In the present disclosure!, there is disclosed an epoxy resin formulation for the manufacturing of large and thick composite structures, said formulation comprising i) at least one epoxy resin in a weight proportion varying between 50 parts to 70 parts; (ii) at least one hardening agent in a weight proportion varying between 21 phr to 29 phr; (iii) at least one diluent in a weight proportion varying between 10 phr to 40 phr; and (iv) N,N′dimethylaminopropylamine as an accelerator in a weight proportion varying between 0.5 phr to 3.0 phr. The formulation is used in the manufacturing of large and thick composite structures by employing Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding Process.
