Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for draining liquid from a container (2) for producing a food product, which device is provided with a drainage chamber (3) which comprises one or more passage openings (13-1,13-2,13-3,13-4,13-5) for passage of the liquid out of the container to the drainage chamber, and a drainage opening (23) for draining the liquid out of the drainage chamber. The device is also provided with a closing member (4-i) for closing each passage opening (13-i), wherein a cleaning chamber (5) is added to the drainage chamber, which closing member is at least partially movable through the cleaning chamber, this cleaning chamber being provided with an opening (25) for passage of cleaning liquid.
