摘要:
An analyzer for a fluid within a pipe (2) has a tubular radiation transmission window (7) which is coaxially disposed between two sections of the pipe which contains the fluid (3). The window (7) comprises a beryllium tube (8) and a tubular guard (9) which fits tightly around the beryllium tube and is made of a material having a higher stiffness than beryllium. The tubular guard (9) has two diametrically-opposed through holes (10) formed therein through which radiation can pass. The radiation transmission window (7) may further comprise a ceramic coating (24) which is formed on the inner surface of the beryllium tube. The ceramic coating (24) protects the beryllium tube (8) from wear due to abrasive substances within the fluid. The ceramic coating is made of a material comprising light atoms such as alumina, silicon carbide, MgO, silicon dioxide, and diamond.
摘要:
A preferred emulsifier blend includes ethoxylated alcohols containg hydrocarbons of C10-C16 and preferably having on average at least 2.8 ethoxy and/or alcohol groups per chain and y glycerol mono- and/or dioleates, preferably in a ratio of from 9:1 to 4:6. These emulsion blends are particularly useful when mixed with hydroisomerized oils and water, for subsequent application as a spray oil to agricultural crops. The emulsion blends of the present invention also find particular utility when mixed with conventional spray and hard water.

Subterranean well formations (12) are acid stimulated using a plurality of jet nozzles (22) located in a spaced relation to the wall of the formation to form an annulus (28) between the nozzles and the formation. An acid-containing, stimulation fluid is pumped under pressure through the nozzles, into the annulus and against the wall of the formation. A gas is pumped into the annulus so that the stimulation fluid mixes with the gas to generate foam before the mixture is jetted towards the formation to impact the wall of the formation.

The invention relates to a lubricant composition comprising a major amount of lubricating oil selected from a group consisting of hydrotreated oil, poly-α-olefin and paraffinic white oil, and an antioxidant amount of a synergistic mixture of:
(a) a low-volatility, hydrolytically stable, organically substituted phosphite or diphosphite, wherein the substituent groups are alkyl, aryl or alkylaryl, and the phosphite contains substantially no hydroxy groups, and (b) tris (2-hydroxyethyl-3,5-di-tert-butyl-hydroxy-cinnamate) isocyanurate or tris (3,5-di-tert-butyl)-4-hydroxybenzyl isocyanurate.
