摘要: A network device operable to receive and forward communications over a network through at least a first network connection and a second network connection. The network device includes a bypass module having a first device network connection and a second device network connection. A controller is operative to receive control signals originating external to the network device, and to selectively switch switching elements of the bypass module between a bypass state and a connected state based on the received control signals. The first network connection and the second network connection in communication with the first device network connection and the second device network connection in the connected state. The first network connection and the second network connection in communication with each other establishing a bypass communication path in the bypass state.

摘要: A combustor apparatus defines a combustion zone where air and fuel are burned to create high temperature combustion products. The combustor apparatus includes an outer wall, coupling structure on the outer wall adjacent to a fuel inlet opening thereof, a fuel injection system, a fuel feed assembly, and a fitting member. The fuel injection system provides fuel to be burned in the combustion zone. The fuel supply structure includes a threaded inner surface formed from a first material. The fuel feed assembly includes a fuel feed pipe that extends through the fuel inlet opening in the outer wall and has an outlet portion formed from the first material and that is threadedly engaged with the fuel supply structure, and an inlet portion affixed to the outlet portion and formed from a second material. The fitting member secures the fuel feed assembly relative to the outer wall.

摘要: A plastic air intake manifold (20) is cleaned by a washer (32). The manifold (20) is secured in a water tight chamber (36) and immersed in water. Impellers (46) in the chamber (36) create turbulence in the water to remove oil and impurities located near the impellers (46). Air jets (50) are activated to produce compressed air bubbles (52) in the water which act abrasively to further clean the manifold (20). The water, impurities and oil are immediately removed from the chamber (36) by a high power suction water outlet pump (60).

摘要: An intake manifold includes an upper shell, a lower shell, and a middle shell that interconnects the upper and lower shells. The lower shell has a plurality of longitudinally spaced shell ports. Each shell port is adapted for installation over a corresponding intake port for an engine cylinder head. The upper shell has a plurality of runners that are used to guide air to the shell ports. The middle shell has a plurality of channels that interconnect the runners and the shell ports such that air can flow through the runner to the cylinder intake port. Fuel injector pockets are formed within the upper, middle, and lower shells with each of the pockets having an injector opening in communication with the corresponding shell port. An internal fuel rail, formed between the upper and middle shells, supplies fuel to each of the injector pockets. A fuel injector is installed into each injector pocket such that the injectors are substantially enclosed within the manifold. An internal wire harness rail, formed between the upper and middle shells, supports a wire harness that electrically connects each of the injectors to a power supply.
