The invention relates to shaped parts, comprising a laminate panel or laminate film, and an insert-injected, insert-foamed or insert-cast supporting layer made of plastic. Said laminate panel or laminate film comprises: (1) a substrate layer containing, with regard to the sum of the quantities of constituents A and B and, optionally, C and/or D, which total 100 % by weight; a) 1 99 % by weight of a rubber-elastic graft copolymer serving as constituent A; b) 1 99 % by weight of one or more hard copolymers containing units derived from vinyl aromatic monomers serving as constituent B; c) 0 80 % by weight of polycarbonates serving as constituent C, and; d) 0 50 % by weight of fibrous or particulate fillers or mixtures thereof serving as constituents D. The inventive shaped parts are characterized in that constituent B contains, with regard to the total weight of the units derived from vinyl aromatic monomers, 40 100 % by weight of α-methylstyrene and 0 60 % by weight of units derived from styrene. The invention relates also relates to methods for producing said shaped parts, to their use as body parts for motor vehicles, and to motor vehicle body parts containing these shaped parts.
