Abstract:
The present invention refers to a method for controlling undesired vegetation at a plant cultivation site, the method comprising the steps of providing, at said site, a plant that comprises at least one nucleic acid comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding a wild-type hydroxyphenyl pyruvate dioxygenase or a mutated hydroxyphenyl pyruvate dioxygenase (mut- HPPD) which is resistant or tolerant to a HPPD-inhibiting herbicide and/or a nucleotide sequence encoding a wild-type homogentisate solanesyl transferase or a mutated homogentisate solanesyl transferase (mut-HST) which is resistant or tolerant to a HPPD- inhibiting herbicide, applying to said site an effective amount of said herbicide. The invention further refers to plants comprising mut-HPPD, and methods of obtaining such plants.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pyrazolopyran of the general formula I wherein the variables are defined according to the description, including a tautomer, salt, cleavable prodrug, or mixtures thereof, in particular to said pyrazolopyran for use as a medicament and/or an inhibitor of the enzyme serinehydroxymethyltransferase (SHMT). The invention also relates to a process the preparation of a pyrazolopyran of the formula I, to compositions comprising said compound and processes for the preparation of these compositions. Further it relates to use of the pyrazolopyran of formula I as an herbicide as well as to a method of controlling undesired vegetation.
Abstract:
The present invention refers to a method for controlling undesired vegetation at a plant cultivation site, the method comprising the steps of providing, at said site, a plant that comprises at least one nucleic acid comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding a wild-type or a mutated protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO) which is resistant or tolerant to a benzoxazinone-derivative herbicide by applying to said site an effective amount of said herbicide. The invention further refers to plants comprising wild-type or mutated PPO enzymes, and methods of obtaining such plants.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to herbicidal compositions comprising as herbicide A at least one protoporphyrinogen-IX oxidase inhibitor (PPO inhibitor), and at least one light detoxifying compound B, compositions comprising them and their use as herbicides, i.e. for controlling harmful plants, and also a method for controlling unwanted vegetation which comprises allowing a herbicidal effective amount of said herbicidal composition to act on plants, their seed and/or their habitat.
Abstract:
Substituted pyridines of the formula (I) in which the variables are defined according to the description, processes and intermediates for preparing the compounds of the formula (I) and their N-oxides, their agriculturally suitable salts, compositions comprising them and their use as herbicides, and also methods for controlling unwanted vegetation.
Abstract:
The invention relates to substituted pyrazines of formula (I), in which the variables are defined according to the description, the agriculturally suitable salts of said pyrazines, methods and intermediate products for producing the pyrazines of formula (I), agents containing said pyrazines and the use of said pyrazines as herbicides, i.e., to control weeds, and a method for controlling unwanted plant growth, in which a quantity of at least one pyrazine compound of formula (I) with a herbicidal action is allowed to act on plants, the seeds thereof, and/or the habitats thereof.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to diaminotriazine compounds of the formula (I) including their agriculturally acceptable salts and to their use as herbicides. The present invention also relates to agrochemical compositions for crop protection and to a method for controlling unwanted vegetation.
