摘要:
The invention relates to a method for quickly and easily measuring the apoptosis. Mammal cells are co-transfected with a plasmid coded for a fluorescent protein, and with a plasmid carrying an interested gene. The apoptosis is measured after incubation and mild fixation in which the DNA content of the cells is determined by means of DNA-binding colorants, and the portion of the transfected cells is determined by means of flow-through cytometry. The method can be used in order to identify substances which modulate the proapoptotic or antiapoptotic effect of genes or gene products.
摘要:
The invention concerns a pharmaceutical composition containing at least one immunomodulating peptide or a protein (fragment) together with an adjuvant. The peptide is derived from a pathogen or a tumour antigen. The adjutant has the ability to increase the binding of the peptide to the cells of the individual to be treated or increase the absorption of the peptide by the cells and intensify the immunomodulating effect of the peptide. Preferred adjuvants are basic polyamino acids, such as polyarginine or polylysine, which are optionally conjugated with a cellular ligand, for example a carbohydrate group or transferrin. The composition is used in particular as a vaccine, for example a tumour vaccine.
摘要:
A process for the in vitro production of non-immortalised haematopoetic precursor cells of the erythroid line in which a population of erythroid precursor cells is exposed to a combination of growth factors containing a glucocorticoid and an oestrogen and at least one ligand of a tyrosine kinase receptor until the cells begin to renew themselves spontaneously.

The invention concerns a process, a biosensor unit which can be regenerated and suitable kits for investigating the interaction between biomolecules by means of surface plasmon resonance (SPR). One of the reagents, a (poly)peptide, is coupled to the surface of the biosensor unit by means of a metal chelate. Nitrilotriacetic acid derivatives to which proteins with an affinity peptide containg histadine groups can be bonded are preferably used as chelate formers.

The invention relates to a tumour vaccine and a process for the preparation thereof. The tumour vaccine contains tumour cells, at least a portion of which has at least one MHC-I-haplotype of the patient on the cell surface, and which have been loaded in such a manner with one or a plurality of peptides bonding to the MHC-I-molecule that said tumour cells are recognised as foreign within the context of the peptides by the patient's immune system and trigger a cellular immune response. Loading takes place in the presence of a polycation such as polylysine.
