The CPU (512) causes the switch (SW3) to be turned on when a connector (310) is not connected to the charging inlet (270), and detects a break in a control pilot line (L1) based on whether or not a change in the potential of the pilot signal (CPLT) occurs at that time.

摘要: In order that charging can be resumed properly even when insertion and removal of a connector of a charging cable are repeated, a control apparatus includes a power control unit that turns on a charging mode signal when a state of a signal changes from a state with no change for a certain period of time to a state with a change, to activate a charging control unit, and turns off the charging mode signal when detecting a charging completion signal which is turned on by the charging control unit, the signal being outputted from a signal generating unit included in the charging cable which connects a power source external to a vehicle to the vehicle and being according to a state of electrical energy supply from the power source; and the charging control unit that charges an energy storage apparatus included in the vehicle through the charging cable when detecting the charging mode signal which is turned on by the power control unit, and turns on the charging completion signal when the charging has been completed, and thereafter turns off the charging completion signal when detecting that the charging mode signal has been turned off by the power control unit.

摘要: A device controls charging a battery with power supplied from a power supply located outside of a vehicle through a charge cable. The device includes a first microcomputer and a second microcomputer. The first microcomputer is configured to turn on a charge mode signal upon detecting a change in a pilot signal output through the charge cable, and to turn off the charge mode signal when a charge completion signal output from the second microcomputer is turned off. The second microcomputer is configured to charge the battery through the charge cable when the charge mode signal is turned on, and to turn off the charge completion signal when the charging is complete. When the charge completion signal is turned on at the time of the first microcomputer turning off the charge mode signal due to sudden fluctuations, the charge mode signal is turned on again.

摘要: In a vehicle (100), a power storage device (110) mounted thereon can be charged with electric power transmitted from an external power supply device (500, 500A) via a power cable (400, 400A). The vehicle (100) includes a PLC communication unit (230) for establishing PLC communication with the external power supply device (500, 500A) via the power cable (400). An ECU (300) starts transmission of a signal from the PLC communication unit (230) to the external power supply device (500, 500A) in response to connection of the power cable (400) to an inlet (220). When a response from the external power supply device (500, 500A) to the signal is not received, the ECU (300) switches a CCID (430, 540) provided in the power cable (400) or the external power supply device (500A) to a state in which supply of the electric power is possible, and thereafter, retransmits the signal from the PLC communication unit (230) to the external power supply device (500, 500A).

During operation, a BAT-ECU (85) monitors states of charge of the main battery (10) and the auxiliary battery (70) and controls operation/stop of the DC/DC converter (60). When the electric powered vehicle is in a key-off state (running stop state), the BAT-ECU (85) is intermittently operated, while an external charging system and a vehicle running system are stopped.

摘要: Provided are a communication system and a communication apparatus that can prevent a function of recognizing the status between a feeding apparatus and a vehicle, which use output and input circuits, from being lost even when a communication signal is carried on a control pilot line. An output circuit (20) sends out, to an input circuit (60), a control pilot signal generated by a voltage source (21). A voltage transformer (31) is provided to a control pilot line (4) on the output side of the output circuit (20), and a communication unit (30) transmits and receives communication signals via the voltage transformer (31). A voltage transformer (71) is provided to the control pilot line (4) on the input side of the input circuit (60), and a communication unit (70) transmits and receives the communication signals via the voltage transformer (71). A low-pass filter (73) is provided to the control pilot line (4) between the input circuit (60) and the voltage transformer (71).

An abnormality detection apparatus for the vehicle includes a voltage application circuit (293) for applying a test voltage to the power line (281, 282), and an ECU (170) as a short circuit detection unit. The ECU (170) detects short circuit of the power line (281, 282) when a voltage value (VH, VC) of the power line (281, 282) is out of a predetermined normal range including a value of the test voltage, while the voltage application circuit (293) applies the test voltage to the power line (281, 282). The ECU (170) determines, based on the voltage value (VH, VC) of the power line (281, 282), which of a plurality of short circuit modes corresponds to the detected short circuit.
