    摘要: A power-assisted wheelbarrow applies an assisting function using an electric motor. Handle shafts connecting to the rear end portions of two handles are covered with grips which are allowed to move axially relative to the handle shafts. More than one steel balls are fitted between the handle shafts and the grips. At the sides of the grips or the handles, pushing force detecting sensors are disposed for detecting the axial movements of the grips relative to the handle shafts in accordance with the pushing forces applied to the grips. The operation of the electric motor is controlled on the basis of the detected values of the two pushing force detecting sensors. As a result, the assisting force by the electric motor can be effectively applied to the wheel of a manual-push type single-wheeled carrier so that manual labor can be reduced while minimizing the consumption of a battery.

    摘要: A motor with a gear reducer (5) comprises an electric motor (4) for generating a rotating output. The gear reducer (5) has a plurality of gears including a final stage gear and has an axial through hole (66) formed therein in coaxial relation to an axis of rotation of the final stage gear. The electric motor (4) includes a housing (6) having opposite end portions, a stator secured to the housing (6) and having an inner periphery defining a central space therein. A rotor rotatably fitted in the central space of the stator generats the rotating output during rotation thereof. An output shaft (9) connected through the gear reducer to the rotor (8) is rotatively driven thereby, for outputting the rotating output from the rotor through the gear reducer. The rotor (8) has an axial through hole formed therein in coaxial relation to an axis of rotation of the rotor. The output shaft (9) extends through the axial through hole (8a) of the final stage gear (5d) of the gear reducer (5) and the axial through hole of said rotor, and is rotatably supported by the opposite end portions of the housing. The inner casing (6B) is fixed to a vehicle body.

    摘要: A motorcycle headlight and a method for controlling a light distribution of the headlight are disclosed which effectively eliminate the problem of the deteriorated light distribution pattern of a conventional headlight when the motorcycle is tilted along a curved road. A headlight (1) comprises a mirror reflector (3) divided into an upper left movable section (32) and an upper right movable section (33) provided with respective pivots (32a) and (33a). When the motorcycle is tilted, the lowered one of the movable sections (32) and (33) is turned upward by a corresponding solenoid type driving unit (5) according to a tilt sensor (22) in order to produce a light distribution pattern aligned with the direction along which the motorcycle moves so that any possible deterioration in the light distribution pattern can be effectively corrected.
