    摘要: A motor-assisted single-wheel cart (1) is provided with a motor (5) for generating an assisting power in response to an operation force when operating an operation handle (7L, 7R) by a human hand, and a power transmission mechanism (6) for transmitting an output of the motor to an axle. The motor is arranged rearwardly upwardly of the axle so as to be positioned within a space (S) surrounded by an upper horizontal member (33) and a lower member (34) positioned below the upper horizontal member constituting a vehicle body frame (2) constituting the cart when viewing the vehicle body frame from a side surface thereof. The power transmission mechanism has a first speed reduction mechanism (50) arranged near the motor, a second speed reduction mechanism (80) arranged near the wheel and a transmission shaft (61) for connecting them. The transmission shaft is inserted to the first and second speed reduction mechanisms so as to be capable of being drawn out.

    摘要: A motor with a gear reducer (5) comprises an electric motor (4) for generating a rotating output. The gear reducer (5) has a plurality of gears including a final stage gear and has an axial through hole (66) formed therein in coaxial relation to an axis of rotation of the final stage gear. The electric motor (4) includes a housing (6) having opposite end portions, a stator secured to the housing (6) and having an inner periphery defining a central space therein. A rotor rotatably fitted in the central space of the stator generats the rotating output during rotation thereof. An output shaft (9) connected through the gear reducer to the rotor (8) is rotatively driven thereby, for outputting the rotating output from the rotor through the gear reducer. The rotor (8) has an axial through hole formed therein in coaxial relation to an axis of rotation of the rotor. The output shaft (9) extends through the axial through hole (8a) of the final stage gear (5d) of the gear reducer (5) and the axial through hole of said rotor, and is rotatably supported by the opposite end portions of the housing. The inner casing (6B) is fixed to a vehicle body.
