摘要: A handlebars locking apparatus (10) for locking and unlocking of the handlebars (5) on the basis of a code collation is provided. A collation ECU (20) releases a restriction of a rotor (12) latched by a latch (17) by driving a solenoid (15) if an ignition switch is turned OFF while a lock pin (11) is retracted. After releasing the restriction, rotation of the rotor (12) is restricted by the latch (17) and a code collation with a code stored in a portable key (30) is carried out if a lock pin (11) is in a protrusion state after the release of the restriction and the protrusion state is detected by a lock side switch (27). If the code collation is correctly carried out, the protrusion of the lock pin is maintained to lock the handlebars (5). If the code collation is not correctly completed, the restriction of the rotor (12) is released so as to be returned into an unlocked state.

摘要: The keyless engine starting system includes a turning shaft (93) connected to a handle lock (32) for locking and unlocking. The keyless engine starting system also includes a knob (92) having a cylindrical support portion which is turnably fitted along an outer periphery of the shaft (93). The shaft (93) is in engagement with a pawl (33) when the knob (92) is in a predetermined lock position to limit the turning motion of the shaft (93). The engagement of pawl (33) with respect to the shaft (93) is released in response to a releasing signal from outside. The keyless engine starting system also includes a click ball (95), a spring (94) and a recess (922) which form a torque limiter mechanism for connecting the knob (92) with the shaft (93). If the shaft (93) is forcibly turned, the knob (92) turns free without engaging the shaft (93).

摘要: To provide a headlight turn-off-forgetting prevention device which can prevent the turn-off forgetting of a headlight which occurs in a motorcycle to which an electronic key system is adopted. The headlight turn-off-forgetting prevention device includes a determination means (19a) which determines whether the engine is stopped while a headlight is held in a turn-ON state or not, a communication means (19b) which tries a communication with a portable transceiver (60) when an affirmative determination is made by the determination means (19a), and an alarm means (19c) which beeps an alarm sound when the communication means (19b) cannot receive the transmitted electric waves from the portable transceiver (60). The determination means (19a) performs the affirmative determination when an engine stop switch (71) or a side stand switch (14) is changed over to an OFF state during a period in which a main switch (50) assumes an ON state and the engine is operated. The alarm means (19c) determines that a rider leaves a vehicle when the receiving unit (20) cannot receive the transmitted electric waves from the portable transceiver (60) and notifies the turn-off forgetting of a headlight to the rider by operating the alarm buzzer (80) after a lapse of predetermined time.

The theft prevention device further includes a means which, when the inputted code and a pre-registered second reference code agree with each other, writes the registered second reference code into the receiver unit as the second ID code. The code which is inputted as the second reference code is inputted based on an opening/closing manipulation of a throttle provided to a vehicle and plural times of standing/storing manipulation of a side stand (12), and one digit of the code is represented by the number of throttle manipulations during two side stand standing/storing manipulations.
