摘要: A control system controls a hybrid vehicle having an engine (1) for rotating a drive axle (2), an electric motor (3) for converting kinetic energy of the drive axle (2), into electric energy in a regenerative mode, a drive control circuit for controlling the electric motor (3), and electric energy storage means (14) for storing electric energy. The control system has an intake air control unit (105) for controlling an amount of intake air supplied to the engine (1), and an exhaust gas recirculation control valve (121) for controlling recirculation of exhaust gases from an exhaust system of the engine (1) to an intake system of the engine (1). A control unit (11) operates the intake air control unit (105) to reduce the amount of intake air and operates the exhaust gas recirculation control valve (121) in an opening direction when the electric motor (3) operates in the regenerative mode while the hybrid vehicle is decelerating.
