    摘要: Provided are a method for purifying an exhaust gas capable of performing a stable exhaust gas treatment consistently, and a device therefor. The exhaust gas purification method contains: subjecting a combustion exhaust gas containing NOx and SOx to a treatment for adsorbing and removing SOx with an SOx adsorbent; then adding a denitration reducing agent to the treated gas; and performing a denitration treatment with a denitration catalyst, in which plural SOx adsorption columns (7) and (8) for adsorbing and removing SOx with an SOx adsorbent are provided, and adsorption of SOx is performed in a part of the units, during which regeneration of the SOx adsorbent is performed in the other of the units, thereby performing adsorption of SOx and regeneration of the SOx adsorbent alternately.

    摘要: To provide a catalyst for purifying a combustion exhaust gas and a method for purifying a combustion exhaust gas, in which in the removal of a nitrogen oxide from an exhaust gas in a relatively low temperature range discharged, for example, from an internal combustion engine, such as a marine diesel engine, the selectivity of an alcohol reducing agent to the denitration reaction is increased as compared to the ordinary technique, and thereby the denitration capability is enhanced with an amount of the reducing agent that is equivalent to the ordinary technique, thereby enabling the exhaust gas processing performed with a high efficiency. The denitration catalyst used in a method for purifying a combustion exhaust gas of removing a nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas by making the catalyst into contact with the combustion exhaust gas having an alcohol as a reducing agent added thereto, contains zeolite as a support having supported thereon a catalyst metal, in a powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurement of the denitration catalyst a ratio (relative peak intensity ratio) r = I/J of a height I of a diffraction peak at a diffraction angle (2θ) of from 7.8 to 10.0º and a height J of a diffraction peak at a diffraction angle (2θ) of from 28.0 to 31.0º being in a range of from 3.0 to 5.0.

    摘要: [Problem] To provide a method for processing (an) edge(s) of a catalyst-supporting honeycomb structure in an exhaust gas denitration apparatus, the method being capable of filling fine cracks on a surface of the catalyst layer which will become a cause of abrasion of an edge of the catalyst-supporting honeycomb structure by solid particles such as dust particles, coal ashes, etc. in an exhaust gas and sufficiently compensating abrasion resistant strength of the edge of the honeycomb structure. [Solution] In a catalyst-carrying honeycomb structure in an exhaust gas denitration apparatus, a corrugated plate-like inorganic fiber sheet and a flat plate-like inorganic fiber sheet, each supporting thereon a denitration catalyst containing a silica sol, titania particles, and ammonium metavanadate as a whole primary denitration catalyst layer, are alternately laminated. In a method for processing (an) edge(s) of a catalyst-supporting honeycomb structure, at least the edge of gas inlet side among the gas inlet side and the gas outlet side of the denitration catalyst-supporting honeycomb structure having the whole primary denitration catalyst layer is(are) dipped in a denitration catalyst-containing slurry for edge processing composed of a silica sol, titania particles or kaolin particles, and ammonium metatungstate to form (a) coating layer(s) of the denitration catalyst-containing slurry in the edge(s) of the honeycomb structure, and this(these) is(are) dried and then calcinated to form (an) edge secondary denitration catalyst layer(s).
