The method includes: receiving a data flow sent by an encoder side, where the data flow is a bit stream on which interleaving encoding is used, the data flow includes synchronization information, and the synchronization information is distributed in the data flow based on a first permutation interval; obtaining, from the data flow, first data information based on a first value interval and a first value length, where the first value interval is equal to the first permutation interval, and a difference between the first value length and a length of the synchronization information is less than or equal to a preset error value; and when a similarity between the first data information and the synchronization information exceeds a preset similarity threshold, performing de-interleaving on the data flow based on a start location of the first data information.

The method includes: reporting, by an optical network unit ONU, a calibration record of the ONU, where the calibration record includes an ID of a calibrated wavelength channel; sending a first message to the ONU when the OLT determines, according to the calibration record, that a target wavelength channel ID corresponding to a target wavelength channel to which the ONU needs to switch is not in the calibration record, where the first message includes a forced wavelength switching flag so that the ONU performs wavelength channel calibration for the target wavelength channel to switch to according to the forced wavelength switching flag; and instructing the ONU to switch to the calibrated target wavelength channel. In this way, the ONU can implement wavelength switching quickly after calibrating a new wavelength channel so as to perform data communication over the calibrated new wavelength channel, thereby expanding a capacity of a system by effectively using the new wavelength channel and improving bandwidth utilization of the system.

A self-injection laser, a WDM-PON system and an optical line terminal. The self-injection laser includes a gain medium, an array waveguide grating AWG, a periodic filter and a reflection module. The gain medium is coupled to a branch port of the AWG, and the periodic filter is coupled to a common port of the AWG. The AWG is configured to multiplex an optical signal received from the gain medium via the branch port, and output the multiplexed optical signal via the common port. The periodic filter is configured to filter the optical signal output by the AWG, where at least a part of the filtered optical signal is reflected by the reflection module, and the reflected signal is returned back and injected to the gain medium. Through the self-injection laser, the WDM-PON system and the optical line terminal provided by the embodiments of the present invention, the problem of broadening of the spectra line can be effectively solved.

Registration signals of ONUs whose downstream receive powers fall within a same power range are similar or differ little in signal strength when reaching the OLT, so that the OLT can quickly respond to a registration signal of an ONU, and an overall response time of the OLT for registration signals of different ONUs can be shortened.

The method includes: communicating, by the OLT, with the first ONU by using one downlink wavelength λdx, where the one downlink wavelength λdx is any one of N downlink wavelengths λd1 to λdN; and communicating, by the OLT, with the first ONU by using one uplink wavelength λu0, where the one uplink wavelength λu0 is different from any one of M uplink wavelengths λu1 to λuM. The N downlink wavelengths λd1 to λdN and the M uplink wavelengths λu1 to λuM are wavelength values configured for a second ONU, N and M are both integers greater than or equal to 2, and x is any value from 1 to M. Therefore, complexity and costs of the PON system are reduced.
