摘要: Disclosed herein are automatically-configuring, universal wireless charging systems, devices, and methods for the efficient wireless transfer of power from a charging platform (310) to a battery of an electronic device (340). The charging system determines whether a proximity status indicates an electronic device is within a predefined charging distance from the charging platform. If so, the charging system automatically determines a charging power profile for a transmission coil for wirelessly charging the device, where the charging power profile is determined based on a wireless handshake protocol between the charging platform and the device to be charged. The charging system also generates a configuration message to control the transmission coil according to the charging power profile.

摘要: The proposed techniques enable dynamic hardware and software (HW/SW) configurations to enable an expansion card to be adapted for use in various original equipment manufacturer (OEM) devices. The techniques use a software-based solution to detect device modes, states, etc. of a device in which the expansion card is implemented by leveraging the device's system resources. In doing so, the need for dedicated hardware pins and general purpose input-output (GPIO) pins, which are otherwise required to detect the current operating mode of the device using hardware-based solutions, are eliminated.

摘要: Various devices and methods are disclosed for the management of radio transmissions in a multi-device environment. In a first aspect of the disclosure, a primary device controls both a display and a baseband modem of one or more secondary devices. In a second aspect of the disclosure, a device with two baseband modems uses a wireless local area network transmission to send data to a cellular network. In a third aspect of the disclosure, a primary device dynamically performs one or more network scanning operations for one or more secondary devices.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for mitigating a platform-emitted interference to a modem in a device. A processor may detect, based on an application or a use case running on the device, a need to implement an interference mitigation measure by the modem to mitigate an interference caused by an interference signal emitted due to operation of other platform components in the device. The processor sends a message to the modem based on an interference profile stored in the device to implement the interference mitigation measure by the wireless modem. The interference profile includes frequency, bandwidth type, and bandwidth of an interference signal, or a filter number to be used for interference mitigation. The modem may perform an interference impact analysis based on the message and perform an interference mitigation measure to mitigate an interference to the received signal based on the interference impact analysis.
